Pray tell, what does make a DOA character become a gay icon? What criteria are we basing this off?
I'm actually surprised Rig isn't a gay icon, and I'm being serious.
Yeah i said it before like a month ago about how all these "sexy" outfits are slowy sucking the personalitys out of the female characters.
Tina can wear a string Bikini and i'll be fine because thats Tina's fashion. However when Mila wears a string bikini i don't know how to take it. What made Mila wear that as a character. Its obvious why shes wearing it. slutty bikini = more sales but as a character Mila would never wear that.
(Can't believe I'm saying this)
I've taken to thinking that Yina forcefully put it on her, like the gag reel in chrono phantasma where Litchi dresses Bullet up.
That is my explanation for Mila being put in outfits she would never wear. Tina and the other girls made her. At least that way its funny.
...I now know what I'm drawing today lol.
The thing of "Oh it's Tina dress her in rags its fine" it kills me everytime from some of the costume entries to her outfits in general.
The thing about the guys was me saying I really shouldn't be complaining given that I actually get costumes. I'd honestly give up a costume slot so the males could get something new.
You misunderstand. We aren't saying its okay. We are saying its more understandable to sees the usually skimpy Tina in a string bikini, but wildly out of character for say, the conservative Mila.
Its just using Tina as a comparison for when outfits do of don't fit the character.
