I hate that term.

Mostly because people who use it are saying it in a "How DARE you block my attacks!" Kinda way.

Playing DOA with a swedish chef muppet? Challenge accepted.

I think you can get away with 70s style "use your own hands" instead of trying to play with Muppet paws. Though you'll probably need a second person to work the mouth.

....I thank god that last sentence is the only situation someone should say that concerning using Marie rose.

I'm kinda scared to hear Nyotengu's english voice. It's possible I'll be pleasantly surprised but it's likely it'll be bad.

I really feel you guys overblow that so I don't really care either way. The Japanese dub burned me out for how long I've been hearing it so as long as it fits her personality, I don't care.

I'm not one of the people that overblows it, I've defended the eng voices numerous times. One of my mains is Leifang and I like her voice which is apparently the most hated thing in the history of DOA.

After Marie Rose's annoying eng voice and the pitched down Kasumi sound files, I'm feeling apprehensive about who they'll pick to do this kind of character.

I really think Tara Strong should voice her. This type of character is right up her alley as far as VAing goes.

1. I don't really get the hatred of Lei-Fang's ENG VA either considering that if anything, the yells aren't that ridiculous and from the outside looking in, the JPN VA is overdoing it as well.

2. MR's VA isn't that annoying(well, both of them are virtually the same so yeah...) and I do feel the disappointment of not even getting Lauren to do a different level of voice for Phase 4, but I don't really believe that's enough to get at them to believe Nyotengu would be bad.

Cmon....I think it's time to accept that you're actually a great player.

I mean, unless you've gotten amnesia and lost all your DOA skills since I've been gone, then ?????? just no lol...

I say the exact same thing but I always tell myself that I will get better.

Marie Rose is meant to sound like a little girl as portrayed by her Japanese VA. What she sounds like in English is a 30 year old woman pretending to be a little girl. The voice just doesn't match the appearance.

Phase 4 should have been the easiest VA to make out of all of the DLC characters considering how she's a clone of Kasumi and TN still found a way to f*** up her English voice.

So I'm honestly not setting my expectations too high for Nyo's English VA.

I think she would sound too young. She can do melodrama with her higher voices (Toot from Drawn Together) but her deep voice (Raven/Mandy) is usually monotone.

Absolutely ridiculous for multiple reasons but I'm not going down that path again (posted in a reply to the trailer's vid on FSD that was rightfully taken down). TN hasn't even stooped to that level yet. I will admit though that the song playing in the trailer was pretty catchy.
