Let's talk Destiny.

I'm on PS4. Primarily playing as a Warlock and leveling a Titan as I feel like it.
Here is my character viewer and some info, you can find your own character here as well.

If I made a group on the Bungie site who would be interested in joining it. We could organize Raids and PVP and Weeklies and stuff. You get a clan name under your own in your emblem displays in matchmaking.

Queen's Wrath ends next week so get as much done as you can.

Iron Banner I believe is the two weeks after that (you know, where you can actually beat that level 2 player that owns you with the weakest autorifle in the game at range when you are using a long range weapon). Hopefully the auto rifle nerfs are out by then.

Hated the game. Started out meh, got a little better around level 20, then just got disgusted with it by the time I finished. Sold it actually. Made it level 27 I believe with all Legendary and Epic gear. The most polished game I've ever disliked. Having it be luck based to level up was incredibly stupid and the bullet sponge morons the game is populated with to shoot at don't help.

Game sucked, refused to spend actual money on it. One day I hope to instill the ideals of the superior gamer into Cyber -- that is, a game we know to be shit does not actually deserve a purchase. He's not there yet, but maybe one day.

The minute to minute combat was great. No way to know the rest was shit. The endgame is what finally ruined it for me.

So far I'm a Warlock - 26. I do agree with Cyber a bit. Game seems to be only fun when you are playing with people you know as well. Playing solo is what ruins it for me and the story is complete utter nonsense.

lvl 28 Hunter Bladedancer on PS4

games great to me, didn't expect much from it since i felt the halo series is overrated trash but am enjoying this far more than i thought i would and have been pretty much playing it exclusively all month while my ps3 collects dust . feels exactly like a fps phantasy star online which was my crack addiction back in the dreamcast days and is at its best with a group of friends and its worst when playing solo and inbetween when playing with randoms. The pvp is decent and pretty enjoyable when your with a good team of friends

Its not without its fair share of bullshit though. the story as everyone knows is a joke and non existent and the best part of it is me and my fireteam members just talking shit and heckling around while slogging through it. the missions/bounties themselves lack variety and are redundant since your retreading through the same areas and accomplishing the same tasks trying to acquire better loot where if you do get good loot you have to grind and sink time into doing boring timesink grinding to acquire enough materials to upgrade the loot.

Overall its a solid 8/10 game for me

Just looked at the now confirmed real DLC leak. All of the content for the story and strikes takes place in existing locations. That's pathetic at the price they're charging for the expansions.

More out less everything is all centered around 4 primary locations in the game and only strike specific things arelocked out of general exploitation. During a raid with KidArc we had a level 13 show up to watch us open up the Vault and right now you can travel to what may be a future raid location in the Black Garden.

The raids and pvp are really the things you play the game for. If you want to raid you getting out gear yup get you to a suitable level. In the case of pvp specific weapons may be better in individual maps and more effective in pvp than in pve.

The raid I'd the most fun I have had in the game when I'm not doing pvp with friends. If you get a group together that is willing to pot the hours in to learn and adapt to it it really is something else. I know some ego hate the Raid because of its difficulty but keep in mind that many people don't understand the concept of raid at times. I played World of Warcraft for a couple years and was one of the top geared mages on my server when I stopped playing. There is a lot of things thst make raids difficult, The hardest is having a team thst fully cooperates and is capable of adjusting on the fly. Not sure if I saved the replay but there were times on Friday night when I cleared the raid and last night playing with Kid's group that we had to adjust strategies and group compositions top accommodate for mishaps. For example I wad the only guy in the Raid in both groups that didn't have an auto rifle so I got to be the guy who would go nuts with a shield (right now auto rifles are really the best weapons but I don't use them because I have never liked them in shooters). Many times I fired and was unable to self resurect so somebody would have to wield the shield and Tran compositions would changed until I was revived and the Next wave of teleporting occurred. I'm looking forward to getting more gear out of it and eventually getting my Titan some action when I get it geared up.

Pretty much you play it for end game, unless you can find our make a group that will raid our PvP it isn't a lot of fun.

You didn't play any more of the game than I did at that point. Less, even. I prefer qualified opinions, not guess work.

My guess work isn't guess work. I am a qualified seer when it comes to something being complete shit.

Buy a Void Shotgun for the Thorn bounty, break it 10 hours later after my work shift because I forgot why it was in my inventory.

But hey, I'm 29 now.

Iron Banner is now out and I feel so much better about PvP beating out Auto Rifles because my weapons and armor are better than theirs. Dear Lord I wish this were a permanent event and not for the next two weeks only.

Level 27 Titan (Defender), level 27 Hunter (Bladedancer), level 13 Warlock (Voidwalker), and a Deleted Level 22 Titan.

Game's repetitive. Story's dry and it's ridiculous that they expect you to go on bnet to read the Grimoire cards to actually get some sort of story. I like reading, but damn. Just no.

Gameplay's solid, though.

As much as some people praise Halo, I don't think the Halo games are amazing. Maybe Halo CE and 2 when they came out, but after that -- for me the games were good, but not jaw-dropping. I guess I shouldn't have expected so much out of Bungie with Destiny.

I haven't been playing it as much anymore though. Gone back to some old Splinter Cell games and DOA5U.

People are always complaining about balance on the bnet forums, but I don't really care. I almost exclusively play PvE and I doubt any changes they make would be extremely game-changing.

I really shake my head at those forums sometimes.

Don't know what I'd give the game overall. Roughly somewhere between 6-7.5. 7.5 might be too generous of a maximum but the gameplay's quite good imo.

Only balance complaint I had was that Auto Rifles were too powerful at range in standard PvP, everything else I've messed with seemed fine. After playing some Crucible since the patch I like the changes. Still interested in seeing how they buff Bad Juju.

Oh, last weekend everybody was scrambling to get Ice Breaker, I buy armor for my Titan and this week's Nightfall is all "I appreciate the effort you put into getting more armor for your other character. Have an Icebreaker."

Plus beat the Hard VoG last night in an hour and fifteen minutes. Not bad for having the group screw around while doing it.
