Even TN is questioning schoolgirl Alpha

This would be my response to TN:

Thanks, Chapstick, for posting something! XD I didn't want to double post, but I had more to say. u__U

Extracts from the USGamer preview:

First of all, its graphics have been overhauled for the current generation, and as a result, the game looks stunning. As well as characters featuring outstanding, highly realistic detailing, they also get dirty, show exertion during a bout, and even sweat if the fight is a long one. These are all subtle effects, but work incredibly well, helping dial up the realism in a subtle way, and really bringing the characters to life.

That was already there in DOA5 for the last gen consoles...

Backgrounds have been similarly reworked, and now look far crisper and more detailed. Lighting has been toned down from previous versions, giving the darker locales a more moody atmosphere. The more colorful settings feel less saturated and slightly starker, so they feel a little less "hyper-real" than their prior versions.

Wait, what...? Stages are even gloomier and less saturated than before? XD What I saw so far of DOA5 Last Round, is that they clearly amped up the lighting and color saturation, not toned it down.

I really don't like these previews by people, who actually don't have a clue about DOA5 or DOA in general. It's something I noticed in most of the handful of previews, that we got to see in the last couple of days.

Like the reviewer said a few times, he has never played DoA5 and DoA5U and his last DoA game was Dimensions: for this reason I read all the review from his point of view, so from someone that had no clue of the fifth interaction of the series and that discover it for the first time with Last Round.

Again, you need to apply the knowledge over: what you say it's true compared to DoA5 and 5U and I agree, but again everything will be always more gloomier and less saturated if you compare it to DoA Dimensions or DoA4.

EDIT: I had overlooked this post:
At this point, TN should make the new female character have looks based off of Selena Gomez. (Just kidding)

That would earn a straight-up purchase from me.

So I believe Brute that you already plans to buy Tekken 7 XD

Doesn't this make it false advertising?

They are getting someone who doesn't realize it's little more than a patchspansion, to publicly state all these "new amazing features" that are actually 2, almost three years old, with last round having very little new.

Shouldn't they be getting in trouble for pulling that shit?

Technically they're not because this falls into the "buyer beware" category. We're getting a free update which will allow two new characters and maybe some slight graphical changes to the older versions.

Um nope, you still have to pay for the 2 new characters and the new costumes after you get the free patch.

... No... this is supposed to be an independent Preview and not an official statement from Team Ninja.
(and I don't think anyone ever got sued for a bought and thus "misleading" review... happens all the time for AAA games, no?)
And the guy clearly states that the last version he played was DoAD and he's comparing the game to that... he does not state anything that is untrue either...

He got the name of the game wrong at the end of the review tho lol

Lol, if people shoud get trouble for each time that someone that don't know a game make a review about it...

I think schoolgirl Alpha is thanks to a certain fan design, but of course they did it the TN way and just gave her Kasumi's costume with a retexture
