Pretty interesting, judging from the Hayabusa's vestiary in the first video now we have the evidence that in the current build not all the characters got a new outfit from the contest (and judging from the trend so far, seems evident that everyone will get at least a new one in the complete game, so no worries).
Actually it's not really surprising for me, if included I believed that at this time all the new outfits in the build would have been leaked so far, especially the ones for the female characters.
PS: By the way @Addictrian would be better to edit your first post including even the second video (and so deleting the second post).

Eh, sadly I don't think that there are hopes for the Crow like that outfit it was part of the Halloween contest. Hoping anyway that TN could decide in future to release it and other Halloween outfits even outside that time of the year.
About the first contest, while I like both the Doctor one and the one in the top 10, that apparently seems to be a perfect pair with the one that Hayate will get in the preorder ninja pack, honestly I would love to see in the game Cop-Busa (btw from the same author of the Crow one) =)

I said this over in the Contest Thread but I don't think that comic con had the current build as the only fan made outfit in the game I've seen is MR and no one has used Crimson (implying this was the same build we saw at TGS).
I think that all of the outfits were actually available during this interview with this build and they just chose those contest outfits by chance (or maybe were told they could only reveal those specific outfits at this point).

It imho has good chances to be the costume implemented in the game. There was a Ryu costume in the top ten, but that apparently doesn't say anything. Other than that, there weren't too many decent entries for him. The Doctor Hayabusas are more of a Halloween type of costume. I don't think, they would add that for Last Round. We just had those kinds as DLC.

Hey who knows. For some characters it is/was pretty easy to predict their contest outfits like Leifang and Kasumi and then you have others like school girl Alpha that came out of left field. XD

This is relevant: How much of the whole game do previews need to show to be satisfactory and how much should be figured out on their own? I look to games like Metal Gear Solid 2, which lied about how the game was, and Smash Bros. Nintendo intended to preview Master Core, but it turned out to be a surprise, which made it a lot more shocking. I'm just tired of games playing all their trump cards through promotions and not letting us, the audience figure out what's inside.

Tbh where the hell is the new character news? The girl doesn't have black hair and has massive boobs and that's all we know about her. They don't have to completely reveal her yet but a vague zoomed in picture (not of the massive boobs preferably) or more information would be cool.
