What types of new features do you hope in added later in DOA5: Last Round

She isn't a fighter. Why does she deserve anything?

And Honoka does?

At least Miss Monday actually has a personality to build up on .. plus can tie in the reason why Raidou resembles an upgraded version of the Yaiba cyborg.

Technically she would also be a new character from scratch as she actually doesn't even have a character model in Yaiba.

i want them to expand and work on the story mode tbh but i doubt that'll happen. it'd be nice to introduce new and the recently new characters that way. idk i'd feel mildly disappointed if Donovan pops in as a DLC character, i'd expect him to be more of a boss at the end of DoA6 or something.

characters:
- Brand new male
- Someone of a different ethnicity.
- Vanessa and Goh
- More villain type characters.
- Irene and/or Niki (but they gave Lisa white hair so...)
- A full figured grown woman character. Kinda like a female Bass but not a female Bass............close your photoshops this instant.

stages i'd rather be new and not from the old games. i'd really like to see them put their creativity to work.

glasses for the guys.

idk man i think all i want is cosmetic shit and new characters to play with. but new stages get me excited too.

did the add the ability to play same team tag matches online in LR? like me and a friend on the same team? idk if you could do that before or not. i swear you couldn't tho.

She has a horrible personality. So does Honoka, for different reasons.

Both were created out of a desire for a fetish, not a desire for a fighter. As such both can die in a fire.

That'd be sexy! *_*

That'd be awesome, but the last time I saw a woman like that in a fighting series was Bloody Roar (which I never played (any of them)), but she got removed from the rooster very soon, only to be replaced by a cute cat girl.

If thats the case then every other female was created out of a desire for a fetish too lol.

While I don't disagree with you, it doesn't mean that they are incapable of making her actually interesting by giving her a fitting moveset since her personality is already established.

with Honoka everything from her moves to her persona to her face to her tits was lazy.

Kasumi's case is arguable. Ayane's is not. Leifang's is not. Helena's is not. Hitomi's is not, although she was heavily corrupted for this purpose in 4. Mila's is not. Christie's case is similar to Hitomi.

Marie Rose is a fetish device. Honoka is a fetish device. Nyo Tengu is a fetish device. They were purposely made to appear super young and cutesy or completely over-sexualized. No other character has debuted in that manner.

Stevie Wonder could see that, and you shouldn't be encouraging it. You can give a character a sexy, cute or edgy side without basing their entire personality around it. It's bad character design bred from the idea that characters must be constructed in a one dimensional manner before any type of development can be made. Tom Lee went into this already, and its pretty much fair to say that while Japan enjoys that kind of predictable story telling the rest of the world simply refers to it as "bad".

I can live with a couple of these characters existing in my game. If the game continues to follow this route, I am going to become disinterested.

I can agree with Rikuto, but I would say that Nyotengu is purposely over-sexual and has lots of promise to be a very good character in the future. She also have a bone in her body that wants revenge. But will her nasty attitude allow the revenge? Or does she want the d?

And lol @EMPEROR_COW. This guy wants new head dead.

I'd really like to see the last few seconds of the round replay like in old DOA games. I remember them saying that was a RAM issue on old gen. Also, the arcade mode should have more of a personalized experience for each character with rival matches and a boss fight with Raidou or their main rival.

I don't disagree with you but the matter is that DoA5LR (or 5U) hardly could make interesting original characters without using this system, just because any kind of development is denied to them not being included in a story mode. Even creating characters more singular and complex on the paper, IMO the final outcome wouldn't be very different from what happens for example with the characters of the VF series, surely far from many stereotypes but that in the end are unable to say much more to many people, not having the possibiity to express them in cutscenes and interactions outside the intro and victory poses.

Mila and Rig are created toward a Western audience and so are different character, but I really think that without what we saw of them in many cutscenes they would appear us surely as not classic kind of characters (always under certain limits), but however not able to say us something more (and honestly I think that if introduced today in this way, so missing their background that we saw outside what is written in a manual, people would think the same even of the old characters: I can already see Ayane labeled as a dark Kasumi with people asking if we really need of the "yin" side of the main character XD). Under this matter, maybe seems just natural to have seen Mila and Rig created when they could be supported from an inclusion in a story mode (in addition to want appeal purposefully the Western market with the release of DoA5).

It's for this reason that the story mode (or anyway to see a character relate with others) is imo very important in this kind of games: indipendently from considering the plot good or bad, it's very useful for building the personality of the roster in a fighting game, of course if these scenes are wisely used. Marie Rose, Phase 4, Nyotengu and Honoka so far can't get the benefits from it, so I believe that it's inevitable that the developers have to make them very close to clichè characters so to create an interest in the audience that more or less can be already able to build in their mind the character's personality that they will show in future, just on the basis of the basic generalization given to us. Then, that this system is overall popular in Japan and not outside and that the clichè used for creating them are sexy, it's another matter.
Just my 2 cents like always.

Heres what id like:

-better netcode
-Aerial Gardens
-Miss Monday
-Wolf and Kage
-dr.Hayabusa and pig Genfu

.. yeah.. that would be awesome...

WTF happened to the NET CODE !!! It seems we are caught up way too much in what could be conversations, I havent seen enough interest in this subject. We know this game is basically an updated port of Ultimate for next gen. I've been disappointed with EIN being the same frigging character since his introduction in DOA2.He needed a 1p badly, he also needs a decent OH. But just give me a decent online experience just to help me deal with the pp lag filled shenanigans that this man has no tools to deal with 1p helps, but not against a character with an i11 mid you have slim to no chance but to read and hold.So damn frustrating to lose to scrubs getting away with throwing out unsafe shhhh!! the lag issues negate his throw punishment game. Thats what i want !!! A BETTER NETCODE!

Fuck no ..
no mokujins ...
we want a unique moveset ..

Shes a foul mouthed bitch with an attitude and deserves a style with the same concept.. I was thinking something like VF's Goh ... something just ... mean ...

But if they plan to bring anyone from VF it should be both Wolf and Kage together ... that would be amazing

So basically she would have a realistic version of krav maga with higher emphasis on eye gouging nutchecks and cunt punts?
