In a recent interview with Famitsu, Yosuke Hayashi divulged information about the Soft-Skin Engine for Last Round. Talking primarily about the Breast Physics, costume creation, and skin effects (Sub-scattered shading) on both the men and women. Hayashi appears to say that Honoka was given the biggest breasts from the start so they could show off the engine. He even mentions how he talks about the improvements the men get with the engine but interviewers cut that information out when posting. In the interview he also goes over the staff's take on the costumes and engine, with a majority of the costume creators being female.

the sweat, the sweat that make the body looks wets, will give better real look of the muscle

A: If we say in graphic, i think there some visualization part that looks "sexy" to female staff

A: paradoxicaly, the boobs bounce in a match, even we the person that create it, is really hard to see the difference
because the camera is fast. But suchs lose or win scene, if u dont press button it will stay in that frame
in doa5LR that will do 100% work, i mean appreciation when seeing the "realistic boobs"
In match, because if not like "Legend setting" it barely visible, we recommend for media people to take shot/look on win/lose scene

there lots cute anime girls, but there still not many company creating cute 3D models with that in might, we take it as our strong point, and we will going to keep polishing our skill.

A: Well its rival/competition between team, like when wang yi-like popular character appearing. It kinda give motivation to make better one

but that because there was no time, so we can only create one
