.... I really do think they re-used Baymans face model for Rig. They may have altered it somewhat, but there is just way too much in common there. I'm pretty much positive Bayman was the base for Rig. I don't think there is any plot reasoning for this though.... its probably the same thing they did with Ayane/Eliot, or what Namco did with Yun/Zwei. Re-used assets and all that.

This is very plausible. It cost time (time is money) to make those models. Most companies do this.

I could see that much but they did tweak it enough to where it's not just the same model with different colored eyes and no scar.

Reason is why I think this is because they probably had originally planned to make him a character, and then I think the more they went into the story, Leon wants to be the strongest in the world, so maybe Donovan Enhanced him with engineering, and BOOM! Just a thought lol..

a cute theory but lets be real. TN doesn't give a shit about Leon and hasn't been relevant to the story at all in any of the past doas. they hint at crap like him having a history with zack and bayman but never followed through with any of it and just gave up on him and was even relegated to an unlockable character with no story mode in 4 when even other unlockable characters like genfu and ein had cameos in the story with eliot and hitomi's ...and you think they'd all of a sudden make him a main boss character in 5? Im one of the biggest leon supporters and mained him since DOA2U and hope to god he makes it in some way but his exclusion in the base game is all but confirmed and the only way he'll be in is if through dlc or the eventual doa5:hardcore edition.
