yeah i think i'm gonna discontinue this piece, the more i render the worse it looks might revisit this concept in the futureI kinda like it as is

I kinda wanna try something here. I wanna do a character design excercise.
Can you guys suggest a theme or archetype, then I'll try to design a character by that theme.
Feel free to say what kind of personality/ hobbies/whatever details you think of up, because that does impact the design.

Don't ask I don't know but the words Turbo Nun popped into my head at 2am.
I started off with her going to be more sleek padded armor like a speed skater but wound up keeping some of the robes of a nun, but the main think I kept was the huge exhaust pipes.
Had no idea what to do for shoes so I made high heels with treaded wheels.
I'm debating whether to actually refine and use this as a real character or not lol.
Also omg I just realized I could make angel wings out of exhaust pipes that would be so goddamned metal
Also tested possible hairstyles under the helmet. Thoughts?

I changed the composition and made her the focus, I used a more traditional approach to paint this it felt so much more natural and so relaxing watching colors harmonize ^_^

Love how you painted the wings, especially. What did you use to do that?
I used a charcoal brush to do the whole thing I just updated the pic cause the wings looked too rough, I used a lasso tool to define the feathers a bit more.

Hit freaking Ctrl+S regularly. Make saving a habit until you don't feel comfortable to progress further without saving first.
