I could see In the new trailer that the graphics had improved but I hadn't seen them side by side. Wow she looked bad before they enhanced the graphics.

....which reminds me, I've never really liked that "one finger" winpose. Something about it makes me feel...uncomfortable, and that sadistic slitted eye expression doesn't help matters either.
It's like:

Or something. Its not the strongest reason but I do like how she's fighting in her fathers honor in a way. Also something like her oil fields were taken or something.
She does look very mischievous in that winpose.

Lars must have used Steroids XX Pro for Tekken 7....By the way, the Lars one isn't the fated Retribution Graphic update. Someone on Twitter made it to show how basically the muscle was buffed. And @Tyaren I didn't do the comparison, a really nice guy on Twitter named Yellomotion did it, he's actually making more as we speak :-D

I am actually surprised they really redid the complete bodies! o __O I thought they might have just reused the T6/TTT2 ones. Once again, imho better a little too muscular builds than those of DOA5. Especially Ryu doesn't look badass at all. :/

By the way...
This jacket and shirt are actually the exact same...just with a litte sharper textures in T7. Seriously... reusing almost 10 year old assets for this generation? >__< I can't believe there were actually people who defended Tekken 7's graphics before the big update, when I mentioned how shitty it looked.

When I saw that huge vein in his arm that conversation was the first thing I thought of.
Also really that's the same assets?! They look okay anyway so its not glaringly obvious or anything.
You can actually count the polygons that make up the jacket and shirt and they are exactly the same in both images. It's most easily visible on the shoulders and the shirt's collar. Only the camera angle and Jin's posture is slightly different.
Wow, even for PS3 this is really blocky. Dead or Alive 3 and DOA2Ultimate had better models one console generation earlier on the original Xbox...
At least they're showing some improvements. Tekken 6 was graphically to me half finished, and they used that scenario campaign mode as an excuse as to why the graphics weren't up to participate with other games like SC. I remember they said something about some water physics that better simulated water currents, but that was it....Tekken has always opted on going for a slice rather than the full pie in graphic detail to an extent.

I can definitely vouch for ROTTR and Until Dawn even if with the latter it can sometimes fall into the uncanny valley. With the former Its small things like Lara's hair floating in the water and snow moving around her feet that all come together.
I haven't played the other three though so I can't say much for them.

That's exactly why I haven't picked up the game before... But these graphics... *sigh* and I hear it has a pretty good photo mode. I love photo modes in games... *__*
