Same Deal with Crimson Viper. I thought she looked so badass and sexy when I first saw her. She has skin showing but you still have to put in the effort to fill in the blanks.

I'd like to think Raidou is a sign they'll add some body hair in DOA6. I think it would make sense for Bayman/Leon/Brad/Bass to all have body hair. Bass might wax though being a wrestler.

Another type of Fanservice I like is when the female characters dress in a scantily clad way as a means to use their sexual power to domineer over you(if that makes any sense) BTW this is the outfit I am using 90% of the time when I play Christie.

Well more like Helena and CViper, I use the business suit with Christie.

Not quite, genitalia does not equal breasts. As far as i know, none of the girls in doa are fighting with half of their vagina hanging out. If Jann Lee and the other dudes wore a jockstrap, that would be more equitable.

You can get a lot of range in without actually showing the cock and balls although its weird that the dudes dont have their tools.

Are breasts censored in Japan? no. Are genitals censored in Japan? yes.

Does regular anime shows, show breasts? all the time. Any genitalia? nope.

Do horror films show breasts? All the time. Do horror films show genitals? very rarely, usually if the film is not rated.

Can women go on the beach without a bra on? yes, women do it all the time. Can men and women walk around the beach nude? nope.

The only reason breasts are considered taboo is because for a long time our soicety deems it so and plenty of women these days are advocates in allowing breast exposure on facebook and other areas and that number still grows.

It's just a really dumb console policy in japan

I may have misworded. lol With the amount of detail they put into showing off underwear underneath the female's clothes/dresses, the same concept should be applied to the dude's shorts or pants to the point where, if jockstraps and the like were actually a thing, they would be visible. Like have certain pants be transparent when applicable, re:Jann's tank top in his new LR outfit.

This is all probably just wishful thinking though. Would have been fitting if they added that to the football uniforms. Tina's nipples stick out in her lingerie football thing so why not have jockstrap lines

As it is now really the only thing that counts at the same level of nudity for men and women is asses. Though I feel like I've seen more men in shows/movies/games show their bare asses than women.
