FFXIII was? I know XIII-2 was (hated this ending hated hated hated it) but I don't think XIII was. I feel they retconned XIII's ending in the shittiest way possible to squeeze out a sequel because there's zero mention or signs of what XIII-2 said happened in the original ending.

Meh since I can't replay XIII maybe I'll try XIII-2. MEH ):< I know this one isn't a dual layer so it should work.

Looks like they redid the character models unlike FFVII where all they did was add mouths.

One of the FFXIII versions (Unsure if it was FFXIII-2 or Lightning Returns) had a cliffhanger not shown in the original FFXIII.

That was XIII-2 which is the sloppy uninspired retconning I hated. Good bittersweet ending then in XIII-2 they go "oh no uhh Lightning fell in a .. rip in time and space and only Serah remembers it!" What also bugged me was them saying the crystal pillar was wearing down or something making Vanille and Fang's sacrifice almost meaningless. I'm surprised they weren't like "and Sazh's kid got brain cancer" with how much they were ruining everything.

Then Serah died like wtf

The ending of XIII was just Sazh's kid and Serah turning back from crystal and reuniting with their families. That was seriously it, and iirc Lightning gave Serah and Snow her blessing with their future marriage.

That part was actually linked to the first one. Of course if they did do that, then people would of been left in suspense and cause the game's rating to go even lower to pull such a move.

Just watched the regular ending of FFXIII, and yeah it's what I mean (Minus the Sazh & Snow part.). The portion there was the original adjustment while FFXIII-2 completely adjusted it to something else for further gain on the franchise. This basically edited the original ending on the 1st one completely.

Edit: Huh interesting, had to rewatch all the other endings. You were right about that one. FFXIII-2 slightly lost a bit of points. Such a shame.

But it has the best gameplay and the best customisation in any FF ove played so far so... I give the story a pass.

So.... i just bought Final Fantasy Type-0 for 23€ and it contains the Duscae demo. I guess it was worth it xD
Now it's time to explore the Duscae region!

The world of Gran pulse is going to merge with Valhalla making the world in LR and then that world will be destroyed so everyone can go to the new world. I also know that Lightning is trying to save Sarah or something and that's why Snow is so sad.

Edit: oh and that something is wrong with Hope in LR but I don't know what's wrong with him.

A vast majority of it though I don't know so thanks for keeping it spoiler safe.

PS: I've seen Serah's default outfit and not being mean but let's just say I'm happy you can change it.

I used the free DLC that looks lime Lightnings LOL. I'm so mad you never got Serah's XIII costume as an unlockable or dlc...

Yeah when I was looking through the dlc outfits I wondered that to because that was my favourite outfit for any character in the game. I think I'm going to go with this.

The DLC costume were weird... why the heck was Mass effect and Assassin's Creed Xover costumes?

I don't like the crossover and bikini ones but I think the rest look okay. And Noel or whatever is name is will probably get forgotten by me entirely.

Who knows though maybe I'll end up liking him like Snow.

DLC was definitely better(and more worth it) in Lightning Returns, because on top of almost all the DLC being cool(both original and classic FF costumes) they actually gave you new weapons, shields and abilities/stats. and a single pack was like £10.99.

I REALLY wish they brought back DLC bosses for LR though, I don't like XIII-2 at all but the boss DLCs were great.

I haven't seen the dlc for Lightning Returns so I'll go look at it now. For XIII-2 I do think there was one or two weapon dlcs. It isn't included in the discount pack though so oh well.

I'm looking forward to the dlc bosses mainly finally being able to fight that evil woman I think her name was Nabaat? They teased her being a boss as well.

Oh yeah haha, Lightning as a boss was great also.

Fun Fact when you beat those DLC bosses (most) of them become tamable monsters to use in your party so You can actually use Snow and Light in your party

Yeah I heard though that lightning pretty much breaks the game even at her lowest level if that's true or not is to be seen.

Also when I was on the wikia for final fantasy I heard this.

"Downloadable content has been thought about for Final Fantasy XV in the form of airships, costumes, special battles and language options, but whether they materialize and in what form is still unknown. If content was to be added via DLC, it is said it would be free."

I really think they should do this. Considering how giant the world of XV is and how much time they've spent making the game they should really get there moneys worth out of it. They could release this stuff monthly and support the game for ages!

Here's my thoughts on the demo (didn't finish it yet) :
This area of the Duscae regione is STUNNING, and here i thought the Wildlands in LR were big enough xD
Prompto is less annoying than i thought, on the contrary, i'm kinda starting to like him, the other characters are fine. The combat system is amazing, but there's something that bothers me though : you have to HOLD the button to lock on the enemy [?].
Also, i took some screenshot because why not.

I love moogles too, and i have to agree that this oufit is a such big mess. The more i look at this, the more i laugh and rage the same time lol. The other DLCs were fine.
