The contents of the upcoming March patch were also detailed. And it is just the bare minimum that they already announced months ago. There's still no arcade mode to be seen, no versus CPU, no different difficulties for story mode, just a few bug fixes and these:
  • Challenge Mode
    • Demonstrations: Learn the ins and outs of Street Fighter Vthrough helpful demonstration and tutorial content. Contains content for each of the 16 characters, as well as advice geared towards players of all skill levels:
      • Beginner Tutorials: 12 lessons covering, movement, normal attacks, special attacks, V-System, throws, counter hits, chip/recoverable damage, etc.
      • Intermediate Tutorials: 11 lessons covering projectiles, invincibility frames, armor and armor break, recovery, cross-up attacks, anti-air options, etc.
      • Advanced Tutorials: 4 lessons covering back dashing, frame advantage/disadvantage, combo potential, button priority, etc.
      • Character Tutorials: 16 lessons covering each individual character.
    • Trials: Put your skills to the ultimate test with combo trials for all 16 characters, ranging from basic to pro combos. Completing Trials will also earn you some extra Fight Money.
  • In-Game Shop
    • Fight Money Expenditure: Spend your hard earned Fight Money to purchase extra game content, such as DLC characters and the Story Mode Costumes.
  • Online Rematch Option
    • Salty from a close loss online? Want revenge? Players can now play a 2/3 set in Ranked Match, provided both players accept the rematch.

I like how they included the ONLINE REMATCH OPTION IN THIS PATCH...you think if anything, that would have been in the main game at it's release of all things...

Otherwise, I don't even think any of this is going to bring those that hated the game being so barren back at all.

What have they done to Alex?!
He looks terrible.

I agree. :/ He looks dumb in his skin tight, green jeans, wearing suspenders. Why would you need suspenders, when your jeans is as already as tight as sausage casing and you are wearing a belt? The overall he wore before made much more sense and it made him look like a mechanic, which he's supposed to be. Now he looks like a hipster lumberjack stripper.

When you compare his new look to the old look it becomes very apparent which one is the better, simpler and more recognizable one:

Let's hope they give him his old look as the premium alt costume. :/

I also don't like his face his face and facial expression. Plus they've been making all the guys super beefy which isn't terrible but he looks a lot better and cool in the 3rd Strike picture.

Bleh, I'm saving all my FM for the waifus. That hair style though... reverse mullet? Haha

Looking forward to 8 player lobbies. I'm assuming we'll get actual chat at that point. If not fuck this game so hard.

Alright, the day of truth has come (well, it came already a few days ago but I'm letting you know now. ;)):
Monthly NPD sales are out and Street Fighter V sold 440k retail copies world wide since it's release in February.

http://www.vgchartz.com/article/263...timated-440k-first-week-at-retail-on-the-ps4/
http://venturebeat.com/2016/03/10/february-2016-npd/

Prior to release Capcom announced it expected to sell 2 million retail copies till the end of March, the current numbers not even being a quarter of that. Well then, good luck selling 1.5 million in the next two weeks, Capcom...

@d3v, seems as if the oh so unimportant casuals have spoken by not buying and playing this game. You can call yourself lucky if Street Fighter is still supported in 2017. ;) Capcom before said the support after the first year would depend on positive (financial) response.

To add insult to injury:

By now there are world wide hardly 3k players of Street Fighter V at peak hours on Steam:

I kinda figured that. This is why I usually don't engage in the whole "What Casual Want vs. What Competitive Want" conversation because it really goes nowhere. And it's making both sides look like an ass.

No better than a gamefqs troll

Yeah, you would probably know, being the regular there...

Seriously, Capcom still owes me 30$/€ for the other missing half of the game. The other 10$/€ I'll remit them for the steel book case which is pretty. :)

I also was just half as pissed over all of this before hardcore fans/players told me to basically piss off and that I as a casual or "scrub" had no right at all on a complete game. Who needs arcade, versus CPU and or a proper story mode...or casuals playing them?

Not gonna lie, people on Gamefaqs are the worst. Petty S.O.B.s...

Anyway, getting back on topic: VFrames app got a new update on Android and iOS. The iOS version got the same updates as Android, but the Android version now has a character comparison mode. Great for understanding how matchups work.

You also have the FAT, which is another way. VFrames does more than just frames. It has a move list, BnB combos, recommended videos, and more.

I'm always happy to see Capcom crash and burn.

They destroy all their big franchises, and don't even promote their new interesting properties

Street fighter just rehashes

Resident Evil can't settle on what it wants to be, which is sad because past games already perfected both formulas. Outbreak perfected the survival horror formula, and ORC perfected the action horror formula. And even with supposed return to roots Revelations (just means constant backtracking instead of moving forward like 456 and Orc), they fuck up by designing it around co-op, but only co-op with AI, not other players.

Then actually new interesting properties like Remember Me and Asura's Wrath, they don't even advertise or promote.

And street fighter was always over hyped to begin with, on top of screwing everyone over just to be out for Evo or whatever? Glad to see it failing.
