I agree with Tyaren, Yun Seung is way more fleshed out than Hwang was. Hwang hasn't been in a SC title since SC3:Arcade Edition when he was an official character.

I always wanted a character like Yunseong in DOA. A rowdy but good natured youth...

Me too, i'd actually be able to use someone besides Ein, Eliot I have no talent with. XD Yun was always one of my favorite characters in the series, and I thought it was so cool how he could do a full on split when he wins a match!

Hwang had a better personality though. Yun was WAAAY too Narutoish, plus he sucked (competitive-wise) in SC4 lol

I think the best sc4 characters were Amy, Sophitia, Cassandra, Kilik, Taki, Setsuka, Nightmare, Segfried and Xianghua. I know Yun was lower mid, and Rock and Seung Mina were bottom tier XD. They ruined SC5 by making Kilik style using Xiba mid tier, and they did the same with Leixia by dumbing down her mother's style and removing her feints and parries that made her viable to begin with, along with slowing her down. Thank goodness they didn't ruin Sophie's style, I believe Pyrrah is one of the best in sc5, she's just super weak. Astaroth also got buffed up to higher tier, and so did Mitsurugi.

Mina was really sick in SCII. Hopefully she makes it in SCVI.

Yes! They seriously better not screw her over, she was nerfed to oblivion in SC4. So easy to use, but hard to win with, just like Lili-sama..

I think you forgot Ivy. She was quite broken in SC4. Ok, not like Setsuka, but she was definiteñy high tier. In SC5 she was nerfed as hell.
I don't care about tiers, i just play the character I like, but I hope in SC6 Ivy will recover all her stances and will be fun to play like it was in SC4. In SC5 was not only weak but boring.

Yeah, I'm like you I don't really worry much about tiers, it's just that I'm somehow lucky enough to play characters who tend to be good gameplay wise. I like playing Ivy too, her heel grind and rage kick make me blush a little with how brutal they are

V ivy wasn't weak, she just wasn't top tier. She was around mid.

The top chars in V were Viola, A pat, Pyrrha, Patroklos, Mitsurugi, and Cervantes. But everyone in the game was very good aside from Damp, Raph, and Zwei.

My two favorites will be Sophitia and Amy, such charming and well designed females. I like Tira and Ivy is ok, but her design isn't much my style...the short hair and humongous bosom isn't much my taste, but I love her dominant personality.

I don't like Tira and Ivy. Not a fan of those character archetypes. Plus I find them kinda ugly. My fav has always been Cassandra. Upbeat and confident. Lots of fun to play too.

Lol no, she has some of the highest damage in the game. 44 A BE anyone? If she catches you stepping thats what, 75% and ring out if you're near the edge. Her standard launcher also lead to stupid damage.

Interesting... didn't know that... I didn't get into Viola because she required to much to get anything... that turned me off.

I mean I like a bit more buxom, but Ivy kinda has too much for me to actually consider it sexy, Sophitia has a much more tasteful size I prefer. And yeah, Viola is actually simple to use, but you have to WORK for her damage like it's your profession. Plus she's very evasive and has no trouble opening up turtling opponents.
