I meant if whoever had a problem with Marie Rose's assumed weakness didn't main her. They would be like "hell yeah! Easy matchup"

Well, isn't that what people are saying? Or are they saying that? If not, then why?

I still have not received a why to my question so.....I keep trying to move this discussion forward, but nobody has forwarded me a solid answer thus we end up going in circles.

I provided my reasons in that thread, yet nobody has responded to me with theirs........what do you want me to say?......

I think people over complicate her. Marie is amaze-balls good. Like WTFlyingFCK good.
IMO you can make her pretty scary without having to make use of Rondo, Minuet, Flower Wheel, etc.
And then you just throw in all the stances to give people even more stuff to be afraid of.


EDIT:
actually I really only reached this epiphany very recently, so I'll say Marie Rose is....misleadingly complex.
her move list leads you to believe you need all these stances and flashy things to win, but I'll say the same thing one of my Tekken mentors told me about Xiaoyu:
"All those stances, stance cancels, and gimmicks are pretty and all, but that's just theatrics. It puts on a good show. The important thing is to play solid."

So try playing Marie Rose solid, sans the gimmicks. You'll be surprised at how much mileage you get off of her.

But the thing is, Marie Rose is effective both conservative AND gimmicky (force techs, unholdables, oddball ass oki setups). Which makes her that much scarier.
