I always though her name was weird. They took the name of a national hero from the Philippines (Jose Rizal) and feminized it. Isn't that like having an American character named Georgia Washington?

I think her names like a tribute or something, but Rizal they could have left out, Josie sounds more natural. And you hate her voice YB? I actually like it, her battle sounds make her sound pretty cool, especially that "GET RRREADY TO FLYYYYY!" thing she says.

That's what I just said. I thought that might be a bit weird for Filipinos, because I know it would be weird for me to have an American character named Georgia Washington.

Lol, yeah that'd be uncanny.Tekken has strange ways of paying tribute to characters nationalities, like Lili's white dress with the red ascot tie and stuff is I believe in tribute to the Monaco flag. And Eddy's outfit is obviously of Brazilian origin.

I always forget that Lili isn't French but Monegasque.
I honestly forget she's monegasque at times XD. She doesn't exactly look it, she's always just seemed Caucasian with platinum long blonde hair and a penchant for Japanese and lolita fashion. That's one unique thing I like about Tekken, the characters never look really stereotypical of their nationality, they always have something that differentiates them, case in point Lili's hime cut and Anna's modified Japanese quipao dress.

Josie Rizal, is a reference to Jose Rizal a filipino war hero.

National hero actually, not war hero. It's one of the reasons why she got some controversy when she was first announced, some people felt that naming her after him was disrespectful.

In Tekken 7 with their updated costumes they look like they are all from Soul Calibur-land. XD
I know, I love it so much! It's about time they got some inspiration from SC, most of them(Minus Hwoarang) look great and way more iconic than before. I wish they would have kept the jeweled ascot tie for Lili though, the ribbon literally drains $500,000 in value off the outfit imo.

Josie's voice makes me hate her. I much prefer even gigas to her.

I love Josie, but I agree with people's disdain for her voice.
Like her VA made it sound so forced compared to the other characters. It's kinda annoying.

Tekken has always hired cheap English VAs who didn't know what they were doing, the best ones imo will always be Lenne Hardt who voiced Anna and Joy Jacobson who voiced Lili, they did exceptional jobs in a time where good English voice actors were scarce in comparison to now. I am however tired of this whole charade where they want everyone to speak their native language, it's too late for them to do what they should've done years ago. They should've just stuck with English and Japanese and called it a day, Lili now speaking french really irritates me, her old voice was much better...thank Tekken God rank that her battle grunts were left untouched. ~_~

I want to believe that "Jaycee" will return as a character with a variation of the Xing Yi fighting style incorporated with Lucha Libre while Michelle returns as a character laced with the more fundamental aspects of the same fighting style
(like how Kazuya, Devil Jin, and Heihachi vary their own fighting styles in game play).
To be a little more specific, picking between "Jaycee" and Michelle in the predecessor (TTT2) was like apples and oranges:
The daughter has more versatility and (particularly) useful gimmicks in her move set while the mother is a slightly nerfed BR Julia.
The reason why one would play Michelle over Jaycee is because of Mad Axes and the stronger whiff punishment options. The tradeoff is that Jaycee has a easier time "partying" at the close range and "getting in" on the opponent as well as dirty tricks (i.e BT mix ups, f3 into mid kick launcher/throw, f2+3 for a relatively safe way of getting in, uf2 low crush "super girl" punch, and having better okizeme options than Michelle... and little more as those were only the few examples that I could come up with). I want to believe that both of them will somehow make it (which I strongly doubt at this point to be frank. But, I still want them back because.... reasons XP).

Bandai Namco was at the MCM Comic Con this weekend and one fellow thought to ask if the game would be coming to other platforms besides the PlayStation 4 and the Bandai Namco representative confirmed it would also be released on Xbox One and PC.
It is believed that a release date for Tekken 7 on home consoles and PC will be announced next month, possibly during the E3 Expo.

*Sigh*....it's just like I feared. They wouldn't have said anything without an imminent announcement. Well, at least we TGS this year to await the SC6 announcement, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed. :-(
