I have a question just to make sure it's completely clear: Will Noctis be in the Dissidia FF arcade game? I thought I saw that a few pages back but wasn't completely sure. And I kind of agree with what Grunt was saying, that's why I usually avoid betas and game trailers nowadays, they can give away quite a bit of information and spoil some parts of the game for you. Like the T6 trailer back then showed Azazel as the final boss character and it kind of ruined the mystery and epic feel of the fight when I got to actually play it and I've avoided most trailers since then.

Yeah, band all together against me... >.>

I will still be so kind to answer your question. :) Noctis is confirmed for Dissidia. But he won't join the game until after the release of FFXV. That's all the info we got so far. No pics or videos or anything about him in the game yet.

@Jadeinchains, why exactly are you so fast? XD Is it because you play a game that you enjoy 24/7 or are you ploughing through a game with blinders left and right not caring to explore or do some sidequesting? Or are you sidequesting but with a game guide on your lap? Or are you doing all of this combined? XD
Didn't you finish The Witcher 3 and Hearts of Stone in about 40 hours? It took me double as long for the stories and with side exploration it took me over 120 hours.

No I definitely try to make sure to explore every place as much as I can when I play these games! XD I just end up pulling all nighters and maybe you could say rush through them. However I am going to take my time with XV. :)

When it comes to the witcher I made sure to go back and do lots of the exploration that I'd missed after playing through it.

I will definitely check up on you on PSN and tell when it's time for bed. Then I will secretly pull an all nighter myself because there is nothing more wonderful if you enjoy a game. *__* I always ditched school or uni the next day when I was younger...up to several days in a row. XD

Since we have some students with us: Don't do that! >__< Nothing will become of you!

Lol it legit used to take me months to beat a game in school, was only allowed to play 1 hour per week... yeah... I'm so glad I wasn't too into JRPGs or games that were super open world back in those days.

Well not many actually existed back then tbf

Hour per week? Wow, I feel better, I was only allowed to play games on weekends, now I just use my ps4 in my room and my mom doesn't notice XD

No I mean per week and specifically on the weekend, it took me like 5 months to beat GTA San Andreas lol

God forbid how long FFX or VII would have taken me

My parents were saints compared to yours. XD They let me play and watch TV and skip school as much as I wanted as long as I still did considerably well in school. Not like an A student but Bs and Cs were alright too. And it actually worked out...I graduated from uni. Lol, it's a small miracle. XD

I pretty much had the freedom to play games whenever I wanted myself. I even remember playing VF1 on the sega saturn with my grandmom a lot when I was little. My first playthrough of FFVII happened on a TV in our kitchen and I remember crying when Cait Sith "died" and my dad yelled at me for crying at a game and I was like "I'M 9" lol

Ironically I did terrible, despite basically being forced to study and do homework lol

Welp, on the plus side I was really good at physics and had borderline perfect grammer back then as well as perfect attendance xD

But yeah, I wanna see more VIIR. They have a chance to make it good this time, making it explorable and not having a tedious battle system is helping.

I was an all A's and B's student even with my school district's stupid 92-100%=A; 83-91%=B; etc system despite spending all the time I could playing random fighting games and final fantasies.

Tbh I'm glad I experienced VII at such a young age because the nostalgia is so strong with it and it gets so much attention with its popularity every time I see a scene reimagined in today's graphics it makes me feel excited like when I was a little kid again

It saddens me that you all played the FF games before I did, I hate being 18 and sheltered from games I wanted to play as a child.

I really don't think there is anything wrong with letting kids play good games as long as they want. It's like reading a good book and also looking at great art at the same time and solving problems and puzzles. I would not let my kid play any of the XIII games though... >__>
"No, little Hans (obviously because Im German)! You are not allowed to play XIII-2. It's a stupid game for stupid people. You don't want to end up stupid too, right? Now go play a little more Witcher 3 but turn off the beheadings (you can turn them off right?), you are just 6 years after all."
That is great parenting. I think I'd make a great dad. :)

Lol same here, in my middle/first years of highscool days. My parents let me play games as much as I wanted as long as I had good grades, and somehow it was quite easy for me to get good grades, or at least not too time-consuming like it was for my classmates.
I played my first FF (FFVIII) when I was... 6 (if I well remember). I would like to see how a remake of this game would look like, FVII is good too, but I liked VIII better xD

Lol the bold! XD I'll have you know its an okay game!

And yeah I don't really have a problem with have kids play games a lot since their eyes aren't literally going to turn square! ( why was that ever a people that people say all the time? )

I didn't know you could switch off beheadings if you can but I never would anyway if you could.

The second part actually sounds like some conversations I've overheard at gamestop lol

Just the other day I was in there for some reason or another and this kid who looked no older than 7 was at the register trading in his limited edition gears of war xbox one (never played gears but it's gory I hear?) so already I was like "...okay" then his mom said something about playing MKX with him and I looked at my bf like

You can turn the finishers off. :) I did at first, because I wasn't yet comfortable with all the gore. But after a while I tried with and it was alright. The camera is so far off you can't really see anything of the really gruesome stuff. The Order 1886 on the other hand... O: Their innards fly all over the place and skin gets burned to a crisp with the eyes popping out of the enemies head if they are caught up in an explosion. The game does have love to detail...

I'd rather let my kids play the Witcher sex scenes than them having the finishers turned on. I'm very European in that regard I guess. XD

I wasn't even aware you could but the finishers never bothered me so I was okay with the ultra violence.
Horror movies and MK have probably saved me from being repulsed by any video game violence now, I haven't seen the order though so maybe its worse in that.
