I hope the game eventually does come to consoles once it's been in arcades for a good minute, I really like Ramza and the gameplay itself interests me. The game isn't graphically impressive to me, but it is stylish.

As I already said, the game was confirmed for PS4 since it's announcement. It will come.
What's not graphically impressive to you? You find Tekken 7 graphically impressive...

On another note, Tabata made a statement regarding the FFXV season pass:

6281c7fe9f6e81888901104b97da54b1.png

"some of you have already noticed, you can now pre-order the Digital Premium Edition of Final Fantasy XV and the Season Pass upgrade for Xbox One (via the Xbox Marketplace) and PS4 (via the PlayStation Store)!
The Digital Premium Edition includes the Final Fantasy XV base game and the FFXV Season Pass. The FFXV Season Pass contains exclusive digital content (note that the names are still subject to change!) including:
  • Booster Pack
  • Episode Gladio
  • Holiday Pack
  • Episode Ignis
  • Episode Prompto
  • Expansion Pack
This might give you an idea of some of the things you can expect in the future. Unfortunately we can’t show you what any of the DLC looks like... The reason for this may surprise you (well, maybe...) The truth is that the DLC is not ready to show because while it has been designed, we will begin the development once the final game is in your hands.

The FFXV DLC is not content that has been cut from the main game just to sell to you later. This is really important because we want everyone who buys and plays the FFXV base game to know they are getting the full FFXV experience. The FFXV DLC will add new and unique experiences to the FFXV Universe with each piece of DLC designed to offer something brand new. So I’ll say it again because it’s important - the FFXV DLC is not content that has been cut from the main game!"

Phew! Catastrophe averted. It is not cut content says Square Enix! XD

It's just personal preference, the game looks cute and stylish which I like but it's not exactly the best to me. Tekken 7 I just like more for the style and design, I'm not as savvy with poly counts and stuff so I usually just go by what my eyes find better. This isn't to argue because I really don't like to, I usually tend to just agree with what the other person in a thread says so that I won't feel secluded and have the other person angry or upset with me, I can't handle that which is why i hesitate to respond :-/.

But on a more positive note, I'm happy that the game will come to PS4, I figured it would end up being released to consoles eventually once arcades had time to break it in. :-D(And Tyaren, please refrain from being impolite to me, I'm not Project Bokuho and Grunt, I've done nothing to you. I didn't know, I'm not an idiot.)

Just make it available without the deluxe edition and make it atleast £25 at best... And I'll buy it.

It will be available separately and will cost 25$/25€. Don't know how much that is in your currency.
Its PSN so it'll cost £25 then, they don't convert money to £ they just change the symbol usually.

$24.99 is £19.27 but I guarantee it won't be that cheap xD either way good to hear.

I eventually said fuck it and bought the game yesterday for £39.85 most places are £50+ so even if I end up hating it atleast im not paying the £54.99 RRP

It's nice that he clarified that, but I do not buy unknown season passes. If you make good enough product I will pay full price for it without regretting a thing.

Cecil returning with his After Years look and Kain with Holy Dragoon (technically After Years as well). I'm kinda surprised they didn't go with Kain's "mysterious man" outfit and went straight with Holy Dragoon, probably because of a lack of EX modes. Team FF4 is looking strong (Rose please).

BTW not surprised that Jump is probably the best move in the game right now.

The DLC for Final fantasy XV was further outlined:

“Booster Pack” (DLC #1)

Freely obtain powerful weapons that will give you an edge and make battles more exciting.

“Episode Gladiolus” (DLC #2)

A completely original episode focused on Noctis’ companion Gladiolus. In this episode, you can control Gladiolus as a playable character.

“Holiday Pack” (DLC #3)

Freely obtain a wonderful item pack that will make the game even flashier.

“Episode Ignis” (DLC #4)

A completely original episode focused on Noctis’ companion Ignis. In this episode, you can control Ignis as a playable character.

“Episode Prompto” (DLC #5)

A completely original episode focused on Noctis’ companion Prompto. In this episode, you can control Prompto as a playable character.

“Online Expansion Pack” (DLC #6)

An expansion pack that lets you play a completely new Final Fantasy XV.

The bolded parts are interesting. So you will be able to play with the other companions... I hope that the item pack that is going to make the game "flashier" means flashy alternate costumes. ;)

The booster dlc description doesn't make much sense. Make battles more exciting by making them easier

Just like the fishing, cooking, camera and camping DLC kits. They make the skills of your companions overpowered from the start. I think Square Enix has mostly Japanese fans in their sight there since they overwhelmingly said the game was too difficult for them in that big Duscae poll. Why not make it a bit easier for them and make profit at the same time? ;)

What happened to them? Used to be that Japanese games had to be nerfed in the west or never came st all fpr being hard, now its the opposite lol.

Also, yeah, I'm not a fan of the booster DLC either. Getting high levels/end game equipment at the beginning is stupid, and takes away any challenge that XV is already missing.

Probably the only DLC I won't download, also "new FFXV" expansion sounds interesting, could this be a story dlc post XV?

Yeah I'm not interested in the booster packs, I will never understand that either. So you've bought a game for £50 and now your going to pay another £15 for it to play itself?!

It just takes away one of the fun parts of the game and satisfying parts which is levwlinbg up as you go through it.

The rest of the dlc I will probably get because it sounds interesting, the online thing is confusing, does it mean multiplayer? If so that sounds really cool. :)

I'm not interested in that booster pack either, especially if it's content that you can get later in the game.
That online expansion pack is the most interesting one, I'll buy it for sure. In don't know how to feel about those DLC episodes, I have to see more.
Also.... where's
Episode Luna? D: (who cares about Ignis?!?! xD)

I doubt it'll be multiplayer, everything I've seen so far Tabata can't stress enough that its single player only.

My guess is its post game content and/or a bonus mode with leaderboards or something

Oh yeah I didn't even think about that! :D Luna totally needs to get an episode at some point. I'm sure there will probably be more dlc as the game comes out.

Yeah that makes sense, I hope it's free if it's just a leaderboard but maybe it will be more than that.

It was never that cut and dry. Video Games were changed so much durring the localization process back then that even gameplay could be changed.

Should also remind you were were the ones that got the harder DMC3.

I wonder how long it will take for the character episodes and lastly the expansion pack to arrive. If it is true that they haven't even started developing them then that might take a while, lol.

By the way, Florence and the Machine's cover of Stand By Me, which is also the official FFXV main theme song, was released today. Here's the full song on Youtube:

I don't know... :/ I think it fits the game, especially the text seems as if it was actually written for it...but I still don't think it is a good idea to use such a famous song, that everybody already knows, as the main theme. If I hear that song in the future I will never think about FFXV first. And I think that is what a main theme should do. It should stand for a game or a film and only that game or film alone. Shimomura, the composer of the rest of the soundtrack, would surely have been able to write a good song herself. It would have been much more creative and unique.

As a reminder, these were the main theme songs for the Japanese version of FFXIII:

And the main theme by Leona Lewis for the international market:

I kinda liked My Hands...it fit FFXIII's pop vibe and it wasn't an already famous song that everybody knew.
