Well, Final Fantasy IX had a (more or less) co-op feature and if I recall correctly even V and VI had it.
Type-0 on PSP had an online co-op.

I'd love a coop feature, it's a nice comfortable feeling knowing someone else is enjoying the game like you are and has your back.

Final Fantasy 4 also had co-op play in its original version. However, there were no assigned controller ports for individual characters integrated to the gameplay system, so it was possible for both controllers to use the same character anytime during battle, which was an anomaly of properly organized co-op gameplay at best.

Keep in mind this was before an ATB gauge was ever implemented to know whose turn it was, which made the co-op gameplay even more of a mess.

It might have been mentioned but the day one edition of World Of Final Fantasy comes with a bonus Sephiroth summon and the option to have the Japanese voices.

  • Sephiroth summon
  • White Chocobo: Choco-gallop to Grymoire’s rescue on this rare, white chocobo.
  • Glow Moogle: Add a little sparkle to your stacks with this shining moogle star.
  • Red Bonnetberry: Put some merry in your tonberry with this cherry-robed mini menace.
  • Japanese VO DLC: play the game with the Japanese voice-overs

Wow, they are practically selling the original Japanese VO. O: So there are none other on the disc than the horrid English dub? :/

Edit: Oh, it is the day one aka regular game edition (why those stupid, confusing names?)! Okay, I take my outrage back. XD

Yeah so as long as you get it on day one you'll get it, I guess that means it will be dlc later on for people who don't get the game day one. And I was thinking you'd like the Japanese since you don't like the Dub.

Day one editions usually are sold for a pretty long time, if the game isn't hugely popular. Games like FF Type-0 (the day one edition had the Episode Duscae code) still don't seem to be sold out. XD

I wonder if World of Final Fantasy has a German dub...

Are you gonna get World Of FF? I'm still not sure If I will, I'll have to see how other people like it.

I still don't know. I will also wait for reviews. Some of the story scenes that I have seen were really poorly written and voice acted and with the sort of humor I find very cringy.

So, the PS4 Pro (not Neo!) was just announced (releasing November 10th) and in one of it's trailers there was a snippet of FFXV to be seen. Seems as if there will indeed be a graphically enhanced version available on it's release.
If the graphical quality on the standard consoles wasn't so rough, I would just be half as annoyed by that... .__.

....I'm not sure I'll be willing to shell out money for those graphic enhancements, as tempting as it is. I still kinda feel like they could dig deeper with the vanilla PS4

They could. But they won't at this point anymore. Why spend all the time and effort to make a game look pretty on PS4 and Xbone if you can make it easy for yourself and just let the game shine by raw and brute power on PS4 Pro or Scorpio? The bigger the contrast the more PS4 Pros Sony will sell... Sounds like a win/win situation for them.

I think they'll sell but it won't be much right away since everyone for the most part will be kinda mad they're making another superior console already within the PS4 lifespan, luckily there's no exclusive games or anything for the Pro but that'll be almost guaranteed somewhere down the line if they want to sell it. I like good graphics but this whole Pro thing is just....no.

I don't even own a PS4 and I'm kinda pissed of about this PS4 Pro xD
I was confident that FFXV on PS4 would have looked really good by the time of its release, well now not anymore. It will obviously look amazing on PS4 Pro though.

The first soundtrack of the concert was my favourite xD
