Lol well I liked @Tyaren that we were cautiously optimistic for EA's conference just a little over an hour ago and they just drove their conference into the ground to be terrible.

The next conference is Microsoft's at 10pm tomorrow night so I hope they can be more exciting than the dullness of EA's.

For anyone that didn't watch it trust us when we say that you didn't miss anything that you can't watch in those two trailers.

I think the Pro (or the Scorpio) are good investments for the future, seeing how many current games are already struggling hard on base consoles, like with Tekken 7.
I'd wait to buy a Pro though until they implement, like the Scorpio, forced downsampling. (I'm sure they will with the release of Scorpio.) That's the only gripe I have with my Pro at the moment. Some games just locking 1080p TV owners out of downsampling for no reason. :/

Although honestly I would settle for lili having better hair physics, it kinda gets annoying seeing it move and sway like it's matted wherein Nina and Master Raven and even characters with shorter hair like Leo have hair that moves way more fluidly... Hopefully they add in her pinned up hair, short hair or braid because her loose hair gets kinda jarring -.-

Lili's hair physics are the same on every platform, even on the mighty PC.

Yes, the PS4 Pro version of Tekken 7 actually pushes the resolution of the game to full 1080p (sad enough that the base PS4 couldn't get there and the Pro doesn't manage to go for at least 1440p) and it also improves effects like lighting and particles and it features better texture resolution and texture filtering. The image is clearer and sharper, lighting is more vivid and the ground textures are just half as smudged. Also loading times are shorter. But it still doesn't come close to the PC version sadly.

To be honest all I can think of when I hear about yellowmotion is that he posted the ost of Tekken 7 and that he once said something along the lines of -

"Tekken 7 is the best looking 3D fighting game of this generation"

Lol, I never heard of Yellowmotion...but to be perfectly fair, isn't Tekken 7 the only 3D fighter of this generation so far? XD Last Round doesn't really count...and it admittedly isn't as graphically advanced overall. Even though its image quality and the character models are still better than Tekken 7's.

Lol I suppose...kind of... a little... Tekken 7 is technically the best looking 3D fighting game of this generation... Still only technically. The second Soul Calibur 6 or DOA6 are revealed though!

I'm not gonna lie, Tekken is solid in the areas they focused on: they have really good skin shaders and wet skin effects, some hairstyles look really good like leos and some like lili look good at an angle but the physics are weird, and of course the bodies for the guys are better than ever and they improved the female bodies and faces to look more attractive. The clothes are for the most great textures wise aside from older outfits brought back, and the stages look really good

My only gripe is the female bodies could've been more detailed in some areas, they focused more on the males like they always do and it's kinda like a expy of DOA which focuses on the girls. Some faces like Heihachi also look weird and some hairstyles like eliza and lili move so strangely, as if long untied hair is impossible for them to animate correctly, and lilis looks so flat when viewed from the front while it looks gorgeous when viewed from behind her

To be honest I'm more harsh on T7 than I should be. I actually am interested in the game since I've been a Tekken fan for a long time now. I'm looking forward to Anna possibly being added in later. And after they did that update it did look better than it did when it was first shown.

i didnt see the whole coverage, but as far as visually i am so super excited for Crackdown 3. looks freakin awesome love the aesthetic of those games.

only other game i was actually excted for that i saw on the tail end of the stream with the rare pirates game.

Also I just unlocked all the T7 gear, I'm currently gathering 140 screenshots for thumbnails and doing video clips, got three characters done so far, I should be done by tonight if I stay up

i don't have motivation to do it that much because most of the unlockables in t7 are too goofy to ever use lol.

Yeah I hated the bulk items which were just useless shit like goofy glasses and stuff, it got in the way of getting actual exclusive costumes which was my aim. But I read that as long as you complete 2000 in game battles in the offline mode you unlock everything which makes gold useless since those items that could be bought are unlocked too. Eliza doesn't have her stuff unlocked or at least the exclusives but since everything is unlocked at that point getting her stuff is a cakewalk. I'll go back to after I'm done with the other

Since E3 is still taking a little time to really roll out the amazing looking games (Microsoft's and Sony's conferences are yet to come), lemme share some of Injustice 2's beautifully designed and created environments. These are shots of only 1/3 of each stage:

The detail, lighting, texturing, shading and overall atmosphere here is imo unmatched in the fighting game genre so far.
The best part you can't even see here. It's all the movement you see in the background (or sometimes foreground). While you are fighting everything is crumbling around you.

Hey, great work actually! Some of these costumes/models are modelled and textured quite nicely. I don't get why others still look they are from a PS3 Tekken. :/
One thing I wished Tekken wouldn't do though is make everythink look so bulky on the characters. Similar to how bulky the destroyable DOA5LR costumes often look. I guess that is because they are actually layering the costumes on top of the character models and there has to be some space between body and clothes to not clip through?
