If you can snag Jackson while he is hurt, he should give you a good return when he comes back. People tend to "hold" onto guys (or ask a high price) when they are putting points on the board!

Won my second game with the highest score of 10 teams and a score of 123.
CJ Spiller exploding again this week, killing it. Tom Brady putting out average points. Danny Amendola is knocking Anthony Brown out of a starting spot next week, thats for sure.

I'm learning a lot about football I never knew, that's for sure. That trade I made also pissed a lot of people off lol. But yeah, I'm projected to have the second most points next week, but I think the projections are fucking retarded.Starting to have some fun now, Undead?

Yeah, you can't rely too much on projections, as "theory" does not always match "reality". More useful is the news updates on guys' weekly status, which helps you keep track of injuries and things ... and also stat boxes to show you when guys are on hot/cold streaks (or are just consistent) point-wise.

I've been figuring that out, I read the updates every time I see one.
Of note, traded Miles Austin for Wes Welker. I'm getting kind of concerned though, because I'm starting to get a lot of patriots, and I might get destroyed on the Pat's bye week.

Dude, if you got Welker for Austin, that is a STEAL!!! Don't sweat the bye week. What matters is winning enough to make the playoffs, then winning in the playoffs. Welker brings a long-term boost (barring injury) to your team which will be useful come playoff time!

I'm really hoping Welker pans out man, I'm worried they are going to use him less and less and focus more on a running game with Ridley (who I would love to pick up x.x), funny thing, it was actually a two-prong trade, I made the trade, giving him Austin for Welker, and also he has to hook me up with his girlfriends hot 18 year old sister lol.

The Patriots' strength is their passing game. This will be the case for as long as Tom Brady is QB, and he's got guys like Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, etc. to throw to. They may "say" they want to focus more on the run, and that is to better "balance" their offense ... but when push comes to shove, and they get tested in big game environments, you'd better believe they are throwing the ball to their top guys!! Just like how the Lions will try to run more now that they are getting Leshoure back (from suspension), but they will STILL throw to Calvin Johnson when they need big plays!!

Thursday games OFFICIALLY annoy me now ...
... due to certain settings in my T1 league, and failure on my part to keep track of guys' statuses through the week (*cough**Hakeem Nicks**cough*), I didn't update my lineup in time to be best setup for this week. Now I'm looking at 0 points from Nicks, and Oakland Defense taking on PIT (very likely NOT a good matchup). Funny enough, though, even with that, I'm still "projected" +14pts over my opponent for the week ... so I may sneak away with the "W" anyway! Still annoys me, though!!
BREAKING NEWS: A guy in my T1 league (in desperation, I take it) just offered me a trade of Chris Johnson for Cedric Benson! CJ is on a slump right now, but he is still a STAR RB, while Benson is simply looking good in a limited role on a pass-oriented team. I HAD to take that deal!! And if CJ picks it up later in the season, this trade just potentially handed me the championship!!!

I lost my 3rd game bad, mostly because the Patriots didn't do as well against the Ravens as I'd hoped, Matt Schaub sitting on my bench got almost 30 points... SMH... also had $30 riding on the Green Bay @ Seattle game. Of course my money was on Green Bay against a Seattle native/die hard. I'm still pissed about that fucking call. I heard NOL had a similarly bad call.

Team 2 got a lucky break last week with my opponent having 2 starters hurt and putting up the lowest score of the week because of it. And funny thing about Team 1 is even if I had the two guys who put up most of those points on my bench (Jake Locker, Jared Cook), I STILL would have lost the matchup! lol
