Looks like the game is available at select retailers.

I'm starting to enjoy the game more as I find out stuff with Kasumi :)

Can you tell me what difficulty options are available in the settings for each mode. I know of the several difficulty levels for arcade, but I want to know if they have the same options for the other modes.

All the modes (Time Attack, Survival) have the same difficulty levels.

Have you completed the story mode? Is it of a decent length or can I blow through it in an hour or two?

Therre are 71 one round battles plus cutscenes. And you can win a title by doing a bonus mission. They have mission like land three low counters, offensive holds, advanced mid, and do a 10 hit combo with a critical burst. Some I had to let the computer kill me because they were going to die before I could finish the challenge. I started playing at 12 am and ended at 3:30 am and I took a break in training mode somewhere in between just messing around.

Sounds like a pretty reasonable story mode for a fighter. I'm OK with this.

I hate to ask again but does the stays locked 60fps and does the controls respone just good as the previous DOA series?

From what I played (0.95) at Hot Import Nights, yes, the game is at a constant 60fps (why wouldn't it?), and the new sidestep is smooth. Movement feels really good, better than previous, IMO.

All maan!! Better than the previous series? Thanks for telling me that! definitely getting my copy day one. Button input respones is very very important to me, the waiting is getting so tedious. o_O

There's a slight chance a store near where I live gets it in launch because Fifa releases the same day and they're having that game in stock for the 25th. The owner and employees are my friends and they said they're gonna "try" to get it for launch. They did for Dimensions so there's no reason to believe they can't for 5. I can just hope.
Anyway, that's pretty cool if you can get it sooner. Good luck with that, Mike.

Here launch dates depend on each retailer. Not even FIFA or PES will be available on their official launch, so one could guess such an unpopular game as DOA won't make it either. Hell, DOA5 is not even listed on some retailers... fuck this place u.u
