On rank mode you start as an F, I got to F+ by winning all 3 of my matches however they were against F players as well. Not sure yet if you advance faster if you play players with better grades.

Just to save people some time and worry, if you do score the game early, play online with no concerns about being banned. While I haven't gotten this one early (yet...that's pending for tomorrow hopefully!), I have gotten quite a few games early over the years, sometimes well over a week or two early, and I've never been banned. Achievements were unlocked, online was played, and it's never been an issue. If you are playing a legit, retail copy, you're fine.

It seems like your saying the A.I. on Normal & Hard doesn't counter hold constantly as much as DOA4,correct?

Jill Valentine, obviously. Man, I'm really looking forward to the story mode. Had to laugh around five times in the first ten minutes alone. "I don't want to fight you....BUT I MUST!", Zack's and Hayate's new bromance also delivers the comedy gold.

Not necessarily. What i've noticed when playing the A.I is that they don't counter as much in the 1st round, but seem to adapt further into the rounds.So basically what I do is change my attack variation and wait for counter from them and just punish it since they counter a bit too much later on.
When playing opponents online, that's a different story...
