Uh...when you go back to DOA 4 usage and rankings. You'll see Tina(13th) and Kokoro(15th) were at the middle of the road in usage. My main Zack was ranked 11th. Leon...22nd or 26th.....I saw more Tina and Kokoro players than Leon players. And dude, I'm a fucking Tina player. So that wasn't cool.

Edit: Cow- Well it went from three 3 high level Zacks to good handful. We got a lot more people playing Zack in 5. But don't worry me and Hatify(spelled his name wrong) would bring the offline Zack fire.

as for the topic at hand my answer is obvious, he was my main since DOA2 and DOA5 isn't the same without him. hell im already starting to get bored of the game since eliot plays exactly the same as DOA4 so the game literally feels like DOA4 with new stages to me since i cant take advantage of any guaranteed setups or new DOA5 mechanics with him especially since all the hype about his parries was complete bullshit. bringing back my one true main is the only option at this point for me to care about this game, the rest of the cast simply doesn't cut it for me.

So what I am reading here is a salty Eliot player bitching for Leon all because Eliot isn't that good. Deal with it dude. I played Tager for three BB games and he was ass in all of them. Btw... my main Zack wasn't used a lot offline either back in 4 because people had their heads in their asses and were too busy sucking and eating ninja pussy, while sucking gen fu's dick and to play him besides three people. Even though he could hang with them pretty well.

Also.....about those characters you brought up....

Lisa- More people are using her in 5. So she is already making an statement.
Bayman- Bayman was used a lot. He was ranked 19th in 4. He will be getting a lot of touches in 5. He's mad good and not that hard to use.
Brad: Brad is pretty high on the usage list in 4. A lot of people used Brad online. It sucks none of them didn't bother to travel.
Bass- He was pretty low in 4. But he will get more touches in 5. He was in top 4 at SB for a reason. Bass is a good character now. So expect his usage to go up greatly. the reason Bass didn't get a lot of touches was because he sucked hardcore.
Eliot- Well there are more Eliots in 5. But he's still new. What hurts him is that he is still ass.

Leon was my main in DOA4, so I wouldn't mind seeing him back.

One of the reasons you didn't see Leon often was the same reason you didn't often see Bayman or Bass or Brad in DOA4 - they were lower tier characters. I've seen a lot more Bayman, Bass, and Brad in DOA 5 online than I ever did in DOA 4 online, so I expect Leon might actually see some play time with new DOA 5 changes.

With that said, I would also be fine with not seeing him again, mostly because his japanese voice actor died after DOA 4, and I dunno if I'd have the heart to play him with a new voice actor. Tragedy seems to follow Leon everywhere.

Thank you!!!! A real Leon player has showed up. And wait he wasn't low tier. I thought he was mid-low. And that's not 100% true. Brad was low tier in 4, but a lot of people online still used him.

Leon helped me to stomp on Manny during the second Combine. He guided me through the rage to victory.... so I guess the least I can do is lend him a hand here, even though I think it is incredibly unlikely he will be in DOA 5 at any point in time.

No use crying over spilt milk, that's all. Actually, Leon was my strongest character in 4, but that transition happened very late in the games life. I managed to take out Offbeat at the last GVN we attended together as well. He was a solid character in an unsolid game.
