Limited Edition Ninja Gaiden 3 Will Include DOA5 Demo

I'm in Venezuela.

I'm having a serious problem understanding what the hell I need to buy in order to get the demo. Every site I visit has different info. Some say the regular version comes with two characters on each console and others say they come with nothing and I need to buy the big box with the figurines. Personally, I want the Collector's Edition but since Gamestop is crap, it does not allow me to pre-order the game with an American credit card only because the billing address is in my country (even though the shipping one is an APO/FPO inside the US). That's fucking retarded and frustrating since that version of the game will not be available in Amazon.com (website that NEVER gives me trouble to pay for my stuff).

I wouldn't mind having to buy the regular version twice (one for each console) to be able to play with the four characters and pay $120. But Amazon.com doesn't have any info on whether the demo comes as a pre-order bonus or not. So I really have no idea what to do. If it weren't for the DOA5 demo, I'd just buy a regular version of NG3 since I like the franchise a lot but not as to preorder it 2 months before it comes out...

So please, enlighten me.

Are you military? Gamestop will ship to APO/FPO addresses. I ordered from them all the time when I was living in England.

You can also use this site if you are military for sites that dont ship to APO/FPO. If your not military, like I said before, there are companies that forward mail to you. You can have it shipped to their warehouse and they will then forward it to an out of country address.

To explain the demo. The "limited edition" which is just the regular version but its limited as in its the first run of NG3 will have the demo. So basically at launch all copies will have it, but the 2 characters included are different depending on which console you buy it on. The collectors edition will have all 4 characters.

No, I'm not military. In fact, I'm not even American... The address thing should not be a problem, I use that system you mention. I have an address up in the US and Amazon ships my games and things there and then they bring it down to Venezuela, where I'm from and live. The problem I'm having with Gamestop is the billing address of my credit card. There seems to be an issue if the shipping address for the game and the billing one for the card are different.

So, I could actually just pre-order and buy two regular versions of the game from Amazon and get the demo with all four characters¿

EDIT: Ok the Amazon website actually says they have a pre-order bonus with a demo for Hayate and Ayane. From what I just read, the characters you get are not console-exclusive but retail-exclusive. Amazon gets Ayane and Hayate while Gamestop gets Busa and Hitomi.

The confusion is due to different countries having different ways to distribute the demo.

They've only announced the demo for the US and Japan so far. There's still a lot of time before NG3 comes out and they're probably just planning preorder bonuses for other regions.

Did you not see his posts about how Gamestop won't ship to his address? Don't enrage the guy further by teasing him. =P

Didn't say anything about GameStop. Just that if he receives the Collector's Edition - in any way - it should have the DLC code for the 4 character demo.

The Collector's Edition is a Gamestop-exclusive as I said. Since the fuckers refuse to charge my credit card I'll probably have to rely on Ayane and Hayate only.

Ugh... I haven't bought a Ninja Gaiden new-gen game since NG Black (and that was used!). Since this is apparently the alpha version of the game, I'm going to expect it to not have a lot of the full features that will be in the game later. For that reason I'm going to hope one of my locals pick it up (Ben?).

FINE. I'LL DO IT. But I'll probably hate myself in the morning afterward! 8D

The main thing that's even made it so I'm willing to give the game a chance is that Hayashi went through the trouble of getting Masato Kato (the scenario writer of the original Ninja Gaiden/Ryukenden series on the NES). If that at all means we get a continuation of the "Ryu + Irene" storyline from those games, as well as I may get a rematch with "Jacquio" and his gang again? Then that much alone would make it worth it.

Nah, it's cool. I'll get the game if, for no other reason, to justify my trolling against it!

I mean, at least it's not a foregone conclusion like DmC, where I know I reaped what I sowed if I actually went ahead and spent money on it.
