Anyone can throw out some fanfiction to make a character seem to fit, but it doesn't stop it from being stupid in the context of the game.

Dead or Alive doesn't need anymore ninja, especially not ones from a different series with mere recycled moves as suggested.
As an option as DLC later on? I wouldn't care, but new characters take priority over Ninja Gaiden carry-overs in my book.

Though, your opinion and thoughts on the matter are respected. I won't try and force a change of mind on you, this is just my input on the matter.

DoA has always had a place for fanservice....People thought that boobs wouldnt be as exaggerated, *cough* *tina* but it happened....

TN has always been about fanservice, like it or not.

And your fanfiction about Hitomi looking for Ayane is illogical, because both the Mugen Tenshin and Hayabusa villages are only known to those who are affiliated with them, and Hitomi isn't. Same with Lei.

And who says Momiji's moves have to be recycled? Hayate and Kasumi have the same martial art, but both are drastically different when you compare the two. If they can make Kasumi and Hayate so different, I'm sure they could do the same with Momiji and Ryu. Of course, they'd have to do a variant of the Izuna Drop for Momiji, because that's Hayabusa-style tradition lol! And if we're basing this off numbers, we have three wrestlers, and if you want to include Mila, there's four. So what's the big deal about adding another ninja? There really isn't one. And ninjas are Team Ninja's specialty, so I don't think they'd make her cheap lol! Ninjas are pretty much the main characters in this series, so it's not surprising that there's a lot. At least DOA's not as ninja crazy as MK lol!

If there was any hope for any ninja it would either be Raidou (I hope) ... or Kasumi-alpha (pls god no) ..

I dont see Kasumi-a or Ein that far fetched to be honest .. reason being that TN likes to recycle .. and the models are already done apart from the costumes .. and so are the move sets ... i dont exactly like this .. but it makes sense ..

I say screw the ninjas we have enough ..
they want a ninja ? bring in KAGE !

but I think I've made it clear already that I would like more than anything to see Leon make a triumphant return ..

theres 4 empty slots down there ..
I can easily see .. Ein , Leon, Raidou, Tengu ... (screw genra ... he had a weapon .. no fair :p )

But it all has to do with the evil higher ups at Tecmo, who dont give a shit about the quality as long as they cash in the money ..and they have ... so unless they see a profit in this ... it will never happen unfortunately :/

Its rediculously out of TN's hands ..

But it wouldn't even make sense to bring back Raidou unless as an unlockable. Momiji would be able to fit in the storyline now, especially with the update on Donovan's whereabouts/actions.

I don't see it as far-fetched either, but who knows with this "new" team.

We only have four, and we technically have four wrestlers too. So what? It's not that big of a deal if we add just one more ninja. And no more VF characters please. Kage wouldn't make sense anyways. Plus, I don't get this whole logic of not wanting ninjas, but then if there would be one, you'd add a total non-canonical character anyways.

I would love it if Leon returned as well, but it wouldn't make sense for him to enter the sixth tournament, so I'd only really see him as unlockable. Momiji would be able to fit in the storyline, so I don't see any problem with her being in the game.

No Ein, and no Raidou. I understand Tengu, especially since he's been in more than one DOA game (besides DOA:D), but please, no more dead bosses, or illogical characters. Ein's now Hayate, and Raidou's dead, that's it.

Team ninja could add the missing characters from DOAD, make a generic robot with Nicole's moveset. Will they? Nope.

Ein, Tengu, Leon, Kasumi Alpha(DOA4 Kasumi), Radiou, Genra, Shiden(DOA4 hayate). That's how Tekken upps the roster number, clone characters that use different movesets.

I would have to pick up Shiden if he took the form of DOA4 Hayate. He's infinitely better than the watered down unsafe mess we have now.

...You know my stance on Ein. And Tengu honestly has the biggest right to be added, easily the most unique moveset of the cut characters and probably one of the most unique movesets in DOA history. Screw Kasumi A though. That's not an Ein/Hitomi scenario or for the love of God not even a DOA4 Hayate/DOA5 Hayate Scenario, she's just a true to form clone and filler.

Considering Team Ninja is going for the "human" feel on the characters of DOA5 I think Ein, Leon, Radiou and Shiden would have the best chance, while Tengu (creature), Alpha (clone), Genra (Armor) would not make the cut.

They already have one inhuman, I don't see why adding Tengu would be an issue.

Besides, the characters don't all need to make sense in the story, having them as unlockables would be just as good as anything. If they DID have to make story sense though: why wouldn't Leon enter this tournament? Essentially it's another way of him proving that he is still, and always will be, the strongest man in the world. Tengu could be pulled back with some crazy demon logic, and he wants revenge for whatever (this is a half baked idea, as I'd be more than happy to see Tengu back however they do it. I want my long-nosed demon, damn it!) DOATEC could have cloned Hayate (ala Alpha/Kasumi) and released him as Ein, causing Hayate to confront himself. I'm not sure how I'd explain the others though.

I do agree with no more VF characters though, or at least cool it for a bit and sort out their own series' characters before adding others'. I'm sure many people disagree with me, but ho hum.

they did a great game but they dont have psychic powers

The team is treating the game as an "incomplete" project to a degree .. especially with the consideration of patch 3 .. (Which they are taking very seriously by the way.. through private meetings with players etc.. its not your everyday patch) ... I don't see why requesting having extra characters would be any different.

Shinbori himself said that Leon, Ein, and tengu were meant to be in but got cut due to time restrictions ..
well.. time restrictions are gone now ... so .. nows our chance !

Time = Money. They would have to charge for the characters to put them in. Realistically. Unless they were already in development and most of their work is complete, we only know Leon had data farther than anyone else.

I would say Leon and Ein would be likely ..the rest ... not so much ... but I dont see why not ..

Ein just having a copy paste body and a copy paste moveset ..hell he could even have hitomi's cliffhangers and powerblow .. there .. instant Ein ..

Leon ... well I'm sure alot of R&D needs to be approved for having realistic animations for his turban .. >__>

Strapping on 3d characters is alot easier than doing a 2D sprite ..once you have the model .. its straight forward really .. plus all the moves were coded from previous games .. its only a matter of a tweak here .. a sidestep there .. and a powerblow animation .. I dont see it as THAT hard ..

I would sure love for at least those 2 to make a return ..
Tengu and Raidou would be a beautiful bonus for me as well as I've played them both quite a bit as well ..

Raidou is just pure testosterone with that moustache from hell .. lol
and Tengu ? well ... hes an evil big bird that lies a lot .. gotta love him :p

I figure if we keep talking about it, they might notice it as a recurring subject, or they'll just notice it as me tweeting them hopelessly about Leon, Ein, and Tengu.
