Petition to bring back LEON as DLC!

Leon's my favorite of the grapplers not only because of his rather painful repertoire, but because he was a grappler with a passable strike game. Bayman's too hold-focused, Bass doesn't have enough strikes, and Tina has too much strike focus. Mila's kind of all over the place.

I like to think of Mila as "Leon Lite".

was wondering what happened to this guy. haven't played doa game since 3 on xbox and wondering why he wasn't in 5. he was far more cooler and brutal than bayman from what i remember with a much better offensive repertoire over bayman who is more defensive, plus his air throw is bad ass. nothing like ending one of his juggles with it and tossing people over cliffs or into walls/dangerzones for a shitload of damage. what a waste getting rid of him like that

It's not what I'm planning, but it kinda looks like he's playing piano or DJing. This image could very well serve as the base for some other photoshops...

I can supply a better outlined version without colour and see what people can come up with for this picture! The reason I say that is because of the way I do outlines, I had certain parts as different layers so the flat version on here might have been difficult to edit.

I'll get on that tomorrow, as I'm about to head to bed. It'll be like a colouring book contest! Dunno what the prize could be though. If it takes off I could put the winning design on a t-shirt and send it to the winner (off the top of my head, not sure what else I can offer!)

EDIT: Morning guys! Here is a complete template for Leon with a Santa hat. Go nuts! It should all be one layer, and easy to take the white off. If you right click it and press 'View Image' in a new tab, it should come up bigger. (I can't remember if PNGs keep the layer formatting or not, but if not it's easy enough to get rid of the whiteness.) I will be working on Ein a little later, so if people want, I can supply that template too. Happy editing!

It's a bit rushed, as I originally wanted to do the sleigh, but it's 2am now and I don't have time to do any tomorrow, and I wanted to get it done before Christmas.

Well we know they're finishing the unfinished beach level that was on the disc, so maybe a character or 2 that didn't make it will be finished. Leon was the only character on the data files in any capacity.

Makes sense.

Leon was an actual seperate character, while Ein is old Hayate, and Tengu is an old boss.

From what I've read, it seems like the beach stage was already a work-in-progress but simply couldn't get finished timely and that's why there are some leftovers as a result. With Leon and Ein, it looks like they made the decision early on to cut those characters so no work was actually put into them and it isn't a task of simply just finishing some stuff. I just say move on and put the effort into DOA6 at this point.
