I don't want a black and white background of the stages when I start the game. Give me back the colors!
More selectable winning pose please.
Characters' individual demo like in DOA2 Hardcore.
Jump-able stages like in DOA4.
Please bring back DOA1 System voice.

I think there are a couple of very easy ways to "fix" the current stun system.

1) If the strike that CAUSES the stun counts toward the numerical value of the Critical Damage, every character could reach Critical Burst way faster, probably in two hits. That means easier ways to get max launch heigh and less guessing. People would fear falling into a CB and make mistakes by trying to hold which could lead to some very nice mind games.

2) If the strike that causes the stun is still zero, then lower the stun threshold so the CB can be reached faster. This = less guessing.

Then we have the issue of the unholdable stuns, we need more of those. It should be easy to add a few to every character and then looseing up FSD and making SS work like the Defensive Move from VF5FS. This should also be easy to do. After that, it's just a matter of character-specific changes.

The irony is if people didn't demand 4 point holds TN probably wouldn't have nerfed CB setups. It's an issue of balance. Ex: defender has 25% chance of countering = 3 stuns required for CB. 33% chance = 2 stuns. I'd prefer a 3 point system. 4 point + low threshold would be too messy unless they cut the amount of stunning moves in half or make some other drastic change.

I'm not saying 3 or 4 point is better, I'm talking about balance. 4 point + low threshold + 99% of moves stunning sounds like a big joke. You need to take at least one of those things out of the equation

4 Point hold, is just better. I hate someone randomly holding mid thinking its a mid punch and they hold my kick, hell no. 4 point should stays forever
4 or 6. I still debate the pros and cons of each in my head.
I pretty much to six-point anyway, and I'd imagine most players who use expert holds do as well.

With a reduced stun threshold, 6 could work.

I wonder what will happen with our current statistics? Wonder if they will find a way to let us carry them over, or if we will have to start again.

A 6-point Counter system will just make the game more random than it already is IMO. I'd play it safe and stick with 4.

I don't see how requiring someone to know specifically what move their opponent will use makes things more random.

Random was probably the wrong word, but more along the lines of being a bit too complex. I find the 4-point system fine as is because of its accessibility and the room it leaves for unique parries to be given to specific characters. The problem lies within the stun system itself, so holds should be left alone.

Ein rocking those shades and Leon's going through a Riddler phase :U

Kasumi, Ayane, Ryu, Hayate are selectable.
The rest of the cast need to be bought.
All online mode are included in the FREE Version.
Story mode is locked in Free version.
DLC from DOA5 can be read as long as that character is unlocked in DOA5U
Cannot play offline story mode

Each extra character cost 400 Yen
Story mode cost 1500 Yen
Full version and Free version can be played with each other online

Full version:
The full version can read DOA5 save data.
All mode can be played

That's an interesting way to do it. Kind of similar to the slimmed down release of VF5FS, really. Smart move to monetize the game, TN.

oh shit this works out perfect for me. download free version and buy Leon as hes the only character i'll use and then save 35bucks, this is some damn good marketing from TN. wonder if its PS3 exclusive
