Killer is Dead

So, I started out a bit skeptical of this game but the more I see it the more I am pretty impressed and genuinely getting hyped. Visually it looks awesome---if they can pull off some great combat mechanics and feel, this will be a great follow up game to play after NG3RE!

Anyone else been following this game?

Oh... the game Jessica Nigri was advertising.

I followed her, but that's about it.

I thought I was the only one following Killer is Dead! I'm absolutely head over heels for Suda51's works. As a developer, he has to be my biggest idol and source of inspiration. I'd spend more time gushing, but everyone might find that rather annoying for this thread. With that much said, you definitely know I'm hyped for this game XD

Cool!
I have always admired the art style of Suda's games but have never played any of his previous titles.

From what I gather, Killer is Dead is showing signs of perhaps having the best combat gameplay yet of any of his games? These recent trailers/videos on the game have really impressed me and show some real potential depth to the combat (not NG level depth but good). This is probably a day one purchase for me now.

Agreed. I've been following him since No More Heroes (which 1 and happen to be a couple of my all time favorite games) and the gameplay is going to look sharper than ever considering his games never had a massive focus on polish. I regrettably missed out on Killer7, but I'm hoping to get a a chance to play it one of these days so I can build up my library of Suda games. I currently have NMH1/2/Paradise, SotD, and Lollipop Chainsaw sitting on my shelf : P

Also the new trailer and snippets from a couple episodes of the game:

I already want to get my hands on the soundtrack XD
