DOA5U AYANE (Force of Nature) vs CHRISTIE

As for damage or whatnot. PPPK I think does 1 more damage than BT PP4PP7K. Both strings are also -30 on block and have similar shit recovery on block or whiff. BT PP4PP7K is just used more frequently because of its reliability and because it makes the player look badass. BT PP6P~K is actually a better BT juggle due to its great blast-back range promoting better stage control.
Kurupt has the right idea. PPPK is -30 on block making it useless from neutral (unless the opponent likes to hit buttons after PPP =P). PPPK is actually approximately the max damage you can get on a minimum height front-turned juggle slightly edging out PP6PK (which admittedly connects more consistently and recovers better). On a medium height or higher juggle, I hit either 66KK4 in open space or 8KK when near walls for FT juggles. BT PP4PP7K is strictly a Back-Turned juggle so it can't be compared to PPPK, though it is a very consistent BT juggle. I mostly was just fucking around here to see if the PPPK would've connected (this wasn't exactly a serious competitive match), and it didn't really lol. Quite frankly PPPK is bullshit I do if I'm too lazy to try and connect PP6PK, or PP6K2K. The recovery on whiff and block is why I think higher level Ayanes (Technically HajinShinobi's the only "high level" Ayane now really) don't use it as much compared to PP6PK. Also PPPK looks really scrubby lol.
As much as I would like to check out frame data, my ps3 has the yellow light of death so I won't be on it till I either get it fixed, or straight out buy a new one.
@KuRuPt: I see. That's just what His Reverence told me, or at least, bot you guys answers are about accurate. That does explain why better Ayane players don't often use PPPK unless otherwise, whereas beginners or so use it frequently since it's such an easy move to pull off. Easy to button mash at least. lol
@DoANoob: Disclaimer: I don't play Ayane and would not call myself knowledgeable about the character but since no one has replied yet, I'll offer my two cents. The kick ender in PPPK has terrible recovery and is very unsafe (-30 on block!) making it practically useless outside of juggles, because the risk greatly outweighs the reward. For example, as Hayabusa, I can get a guaranteed low izuna drop on whiff/block. Stick with P, PP instead. In terms of juggles, the main reasons I can think of it not being used as much is because there are better options in terms of damage (e.g. BT PP4PP7K) or for continuing wake-up pressure. Apart from that, it's perfectly fine to use PPPK in juggles; for example in certain situations like it may be a more viable option due to character weight or environment factors like a slope.
Hmm mind if I ask this question? I already asked this to His Reverence and he gave me his response, but I'm just curious and wonder if this applies to all Ayane players(in the intermediate or pro area). Her PPPK,the one on 0:38 or :39, I know most beginners or so use that combo frequently, but the higher ups don't use it as much as the beginners, like occasionally, rarely, or never. What's the reason the pros don't add it into their combo list, or they have added it into it, but maybe got rid of it? His Reverence said it's unsafe i think and is mostly suited for juggles, yet there are better juggles moves she can use. Idk, was just curious.
