is DOA6 Honoka the only character in DOA history that has a low launcher (and I don't mean a 2 part low starter launcher, I mean like a low attack that actually launches)? I feel like that can't be right but I can't recall anyone else having such a move :/
well regardless of whose fault it is, hopefully it's optional for players who want a less cluttered UI, or it's just one of those training wheel features that goes away once you play the game on higher difficulties, kinda like Arkham Asylum; that game had indicators for everything, but they turn...
been watching alot of Ninja Gaiden 4 footage lately, and while there is alot of stuff they're bringing back that's cool (UT's, Obliterations, Essence), I can say with confidence that I don't like the UI, call me a purist if you must but offscreen enemy indicators and Spidey Sense style warnings...
oh they don't mind making ladies over the age of 26
they'll just always look like they're 25 regardless of their actual age (Miyako, Maria, Ayame, etc)
also gotta love how the "old" DOA females are just the standard female models with smaller eyes and unremarkable haircuts
DOA7 wish list
A proper lockout mechanic, a new way to interact with the environment, a sumo rep, and an actual old lady character (not that Nyotengu BS)
at least a physical N64 game you bought 20 years ago will work if you used it today, try a physical Nintendo Switch 2 game 10 years from now and any number of DRM fuckery could render the thing the useless, which begs the question why even bother with physical cartridges? just make the whole dam...
how Nintendo thought offering only 64 GB max cartridges in todays environment is baffling, it's too big for small devs whose games are too small and it's too small for big devs whose games are too big, and the game key card workaround is just an insult to physical media, it's literally just...
anyone else find it ironic that the situation with Switch 2 game cartridges and third party developers is almost beat for beat the same situation that happened with N64 cartridges and third party developers? I'd argue its worse now thanks to atrocious DRM but how did they make the same mistake...
Realistically, when it comes to Xbox names where could they have gone with after 360? Xbox 420? Xbox 720? Xbox Infinity? I give Microsoft shit for their naming conventions but the 360 was a genius way to catch up with the PS3, but sadly that genius move set them up for failure, cuz they've just...
Branding or not that name is awful, rolls off the tounge like a mouthful of piss, sheit if I was Microsoft i'd be like "Asus, thanks for letting us slap our name on your hardware, but can we change the name lil bit? Xbox ROG Ally X sounds like a drunken mad lib ngl"
dawg the arenas in NG4 are massive, no more intense fights in claustrophobic areas where we can take advantage of walls, now we just fighting in large, flat, open areas? as long as the characters can take advantage of the space I guess it's fine
I saw a blonde British man in the new NG4 trailer and my NG3 PTSD kicked in, but then I remembered that Cliff and Regent both die at the end of NG3 so there's no way they could come back...question mark?
just saw the trailer, look very faithful to the show, it's actually crazy how good of a fit Invincible is for a fighting game, the show/comic has ALOT of characters with varied designed and powers, but 90% of them get murked only after a few apparencies, so this will be a cool way to explore...
