A question to the Bayman players out there. Do you utilize his Expert holds? (Eg :6::7::H:) or do you just stick to the basic ones? I'm just curious if I should put in the practice time with them. I've watched a few videos and I can't really see alot of them being thrown out, hence my question/

The game tends to freeze at a black screen occasionally when accepting an XBL party invite to a room. Not sure why. Currently correlation leads me to believe it might be caused by more than 1 person accepting an invite and trying to enter the lobby at the same time.

I've lightly used Bayman in 4, but always had to backseat him because my friends main Kasumi and Ayane :P But I watched the opening night tourney on twitch and that TOTALLY inspired me to pick him back up. Btw, gratz on the win Rikuto.

I posted this in another thread a bit ago, but I think it deserves its own thread. What is a good way to practice grapple characters? Against the computer you can't bait holds and such, so I'm having a really hard time actually using grapple character to grapple. Usually I end up having to spam...

I dunno. As far as I remember I put it on casual and cant just mash it.

I have it set to casual, and I still don't get buffered holds. I have to input a hold each time, I cant just hold :4: and mash :H: :P Or is the difference something else?

Yeah, so anyone know a good way to practice grapple characters? I'm trying to practice bass, but you can't bait holds from the AI, and that makes it really hard to practice. Any suggestions?

As I'm kind of new to DoA on a stick, I'm using 22 or 88. I have a fear that I'll hit all 3 accidentally when trying to just shit P+K or H+K. But that will change with practice.

Oh, I missed that :) I knew there was a long discussion about her being banned in online matches. Must've missed the memo.

So I was just watching a video from PeacefulJay's stream this morning. He was playing a few online matches. In the video someone picked Alpha and played her online. I don't know if she's only banned in ranked or what, but I saw her being played online.
