    Good news! Tina has a guaranteed force tech :) I've tested it with back tech and everything along those lines, and my internet is back tom.

    Interesting, I'll take a look at it when I'm in lab. The one I'm experimenting with deals with 8P in a juggle. It seems that the semi-hard knockdown state it gives prevents the opponent from doing a wake up kick. If they mash out kick, they'll end up just getting up. No kick is performed.

    And here's another neat part about it. The opponent can choose to lie there and wait a bit to do a wake-up kick. However, if they decide to do this, they can be FT'd using 1P (and a follow-up if they aren't mashing a button) or 2P. The 1P and 2P can be avoided if they mash to get up, but you're still at a slight advantage due to their recovery.

    So it looks like this. Launch>combo with 8P ender>1P or 2P. If they lie there, they're put in a FT opportunity. If they tech up, you're at a slight advantage to continue pressure. Seems to work well against slow character and the 10f jabbers. Still looking at how well this works against the 9f jabbers, but overall, the 8P ender can eliminate the wake-up kick opportunity.
    To any rachel player, I was playing against a compute, and she did her twirl kick without twirling, is it a secret input? I can't find it!

    I would be so much further had I got my game on Tuesday, since it was delivered to my house and not to me on campus. However, I'm in the process of doing hella side quests to level up Lightning.

    GGs man. Those setups you have with Tina are quite good! It gave me some ideas. Next time we play, we should trade and try them. Maybe do some 1v1s.

    Interesting, I look forward to it. I've been trying to find ways to keep the offense going with her since the new ground game has limited FT opportunities in combos and post combos. Most of her combos seem to "reset" the situation since she is forced to basically wait for the rising kick or try to beat it out.

    thats true, and i usually do the stupid thing and fo 4P+K, but theres a 30% chance ill get something good, mid kick i go flying back, low i get the advantage, and then they back up im punished :l

    If you're feeling gutsy, you can use (3)P to beat out rising kicks. You do it right when they are about to sit up from the ground. It's really hard and one of those "high risk, high reward" situations. A successful one will give you a great stun that can lead up to some really good damage.
    Anyone up for some tina training soon? id love to trade some set-ups and some tactics with someone!

    hey, I've been working on some turn around grabs into critical bursts and then power launchers. they usually always work. i'd love to trade ideas if you're up for it.
    Dont know if any other tina players know this, but her half circle grab from behind (mdt) can be inout with JUST 64T
