Before DOA I actually was a simmer and played it 24/7 the only reason I got back into DOA was because my PS3 couldn’t read discs anymore. So I played DC universe online for a while and then I found Corefighters in the PS store and then I’ve played DOA ever since. Anyway to answer your question, I don’t play similar games.
Was it really a flop though? I mean starting out there were some shitty decisions, but I feel like overall it's a more polished game. Sims 4 feels more intimate in interactions with others vs Sims 3's open world. While I do love the open world, I can't deny that the game was hella unoptimized. That and the base models look like straight dolls.
I agree with you on those points Hazard. But, to me the open world concept was why I liked it so much. The open world concept was making the city alive. In The sims 4 only the lot you’re on is alive. Sims4 has a lot but to me the game feels limited. The cities are divided in sections and there’s loading screens everywhere, which ruins the open world concept for me.
The sims 4 feels very limited with it’s build mode and clothing. In the Sims 3 you could customize the colors of your clothing and furniture. In the sims 4 you get a few recolors and that’s it.
Let’s not forget that the Sims 4 is almost here for 4 years now and it still doesn’t have cars or the ability to make a proper garage (even though it has no cars). The fact that it took EA/Maxis 3 years to release a console version, pools and toddlers. What also sucks is that You can’t look at or download stuff from other people’s library’s on console.
