Well, I like him because he cracks me up lol. Best answer is he has the most character development for a rival. Way better than a certain someone from another series who was dominating the whole plot with those hax eyes.

Is he one characters you have to be 15 and feel like the whole world is against you in order to appreciate his dickishness? Cause I'm marathoning through hero acadamia and I'm just like, this guy's a fucking dick and yet fans love and defend him to death

Yeah, sasuke kinda did take over Naruto for a while, but i never really hated him, even when he went full villain mode. Bakugo on the other hand, I feel like he's supposed to be an entertaining asshole rival, which is fine, but I just don't find him that entertaining:/ oh well, I still got a season and a half to go so I'll wait

The thing is though, it takes some time to like him. I know a lot of people turned off by Katsuki because his bullying to Izuku as little kids and his personality in general. The ride is crazy but it will get there.
