For DOA, SC, or a different game/series?

@Brute - For fighting games overall. On the recent startup, a perfect example is the recent character 2B for SC. 4 people from the SC community via reddit seems to be complaining on who gets to make a 2B character Discords and instead they -all- made one. So which one is the real one?

For all of that, could of just made a SC Discord hub with character "channels". Least with a forum you could find tech on a specific page and thread via X character, but for Discord? nah, you'll have to scroll up 10000+ text chat messages (that's actively typing at the same time) just to find what you are looking for.

Yeah but that same shit happens on forums, too. Whenever a new character was announced for DOA, everyone would rush to the forums to try to create the "Combo Thread" or "Gameplay Thread" or whatever for the respective character, despite having no combos or gameplay ready to give the thread any purpose. They just wanted to be the first for some reason.

People are idiots regardless what platform they're using.

I don't have SC yet and not interested on using 2B, but more on the future that if I decide to do pick the game up I'll have to look at the tech without having to ask people constantly that'll probably be used when I play them so that I can find ways to avoid a certain scenario. Apparently 8wayrun is dying so people are shifting to Discord which I think was not a good decision at all for information.
