It's... actually pretty embarrassing watching some of these replays. Playing so badly, getting hit by everything. I don't care how good my opponent is. I don't understand how I can not play for years and come back and see all this. I almost feel like I'm a smarter player now than I was then despite having retired.

True, but what's worse is that... even just the little bit I actually played of LR after coming back, I'm making smarter choices than I was previously. You'd think after all these years I'd be garbage but it's as if my head is clearer now. All those bad habits I had, I can't even remember them.

When I return to a fighting game after a couple of months of playing something else I usually play better than before. Watching professional gameplay during that time period can also help to improve one's skill at the specific fighting game, since he/she sort of analyzes what happened in that fight and the decisions the players made in those games.

@ChaolanLegacy That may very well be accurate based on what I've seen. @Goarmagon It's been years, the game's life is over. There's nothing to be done at this point, I could complain to over 5-6 different youtubers and ask them to take them down, but that would just make me look and feel petty. What's done is done. Only thing to do is be better in 6 so if I am recorded, it's as the boss that I am.

I've played you. You've got your tricks, and I think people feel good about defeating you because you give them a fight.

@deathofaninja I don't remember you being on XBL but it's been years. I appreciate that as well. I've played the best, beaten the best and made friends with the best. Still I've always been a bit short of being a top player (also not going offline sadly) but I know I'm a good one, what's most important is consistency. The top players have that down pat, which is why they generally dominate.

Where as I can be dominating one day and getting bodied the other.

@Brute You've known me on here. I've had moments but I'm no boaster. I was trash in the beginning (last days of DOA4) but I worked my way up and I don't have to puff up my chest and tell you I'm a good player. You've seen the old videos, they speak for themselves and I'm proud of where I got. Probably why the videos irritated me, I kinda felt like they didn't represent my true level of skill.

But they do too. They represent how badly I can play and that lack of consistency that I had. But what they really are there for is to serve as a lesson. If I come back for 6, what you'll be seeing will be very different. That I can promise.
