This is what you get when you give Shimbori (A people pleaser) the charge. DOA6 flops because they’re incompetent and clearly don’t know how to make a game, properly write stories, properly design characters and how to handle backlash. If only Shimbori had the balls like itagaki and Harada this wouldn’t have happened.

Things they did wrong... Well, no lobbies at launch and a few other things missing (like win poses) makes the game seem unfinished from the jump. The costume parts thing, with people losing parts completely if they were awarded more parts than a costume required. The amount of parts awarded. Not allowing US PS4 people to buy individual DLC costumes. There's more but I'm out of room. lol

an actual people pleaser wouldn't make decisions that please absolutely nobody (and i'm not talking about aesthetic/writing decisions which are all subjective, but the mechanical ones)

DOA will just always have a hard time with everything it seems. Was hoping 6 would be that game to sorta reshape the series' rep and such but that's out the window lol it's still a super young game but by far the worst launch in the series
