MasterHavik shut up. We don't care how SCVI or Tekken 7 is doing. They are their own games with their own followings. DOA6 got off to a slow start because of a poor launch situation. The patch that dropped Thursday (for most people) has improved things: such as adding some extra stuff/features, fixed the costumes parts system to something reasonable, and most importantly launched DOA6: Core Fighters.

Once lobbies coupled along with the recently released DOA6 Core Fighters are in operation, DOA6 will only continue to grow as time goes on like you said. Look how well DOA5LR ended up doing all things considered. With that said I'm happy for SCVI. (Also 87 entrants isn't exactly a bad number).

You guys constantly shit on SC6 and Tekken 7 nonstop. I'm jsut throwing it out there as a reminder that they draw better.
I hope the game does well but I fear KoeiTecmo has struck their nose too far in turning a lot of people off. I think DOA will grow too but I wonder if it will stick. DOA 5 LR survive because of dlc. The tournament numbers for it were not that good. Was LR the best version? yes, but less and less

People in this community arguably shit on DOA6 more than they shit on SCVI or Tekken 7. It's criticisms that are generally deserved. Also it's a Dead or Alive site, not a SoulCalibur or Tekken site. I never talk shit about SC or Tekken on 8wayrun or Tekken Zaibatsu. Still seriously, shut up & stop the stupid comparisons with the other 3D fighters. It serves no productive purpose. DOA is its own entity.
