Honestly, I never understand why people use the logic that "They'll go to MKXI" as if casuals would ever stick by a single game at all. It's pretty much obvious that was going to happen whether or not DOA6 had a great launch or not.

I'd rather get stomped by you and 50 other players than having to play against 30k who only care about tiddys and who mash even a full screen away to grind for costumes. I preordered MK11 but VF and DoA are my meat, mk is just a nostalgia snack

Indeed, don't get me wrong, I'll play MK11, but I played Injustice 2 too, and know that those games are basically just casual havens that don't particularly excel when it comes to competitive game mechanics. They're fun, but the wonky competitive balance relegates them to really good casual games with friends. SCVI also wasn't really tearing it up before Amy released this week.
