if you were punishing SSA spam b4. this change doesn't mean much to you, and if you were frugal with SSA because you understand it's not a free way out everytime, again, this change doesn't mean much for you

meter usage on holds out of critical stun would have made way more sense. Its not a matter of adjusting to it either, this is just shit. I'm 100% uninstalling the game after CEO. Hell I'm considering not even going to CEO. Players need to not show up to make a point to TN that they suck and need to pass this game off to better developers because doa6 is a travesty.

A good player doesn't require extra necessities just to do good. TN didn't even give the game a 6-8 month test before making the decision to change it. It's tolerable but again, not a good way to fix problems, especially enforcing a universal mechanic to burn meter. It's the concept in itself to which it questions TN if they are trying to be a 3D fighter or not.

I'm 100% pretty sure there were better alternatives than adding meter for SSA, oh I dunno? make neutral step be as evasive like in VF to force people to go off axis for trying to put strings on block that don't track with minimum recovery, or just plain buffing freestep like the old games.

If TN can't make proper step, ask another company. If it's about pride for TN to ask, then toss that pride away & ask.
