I don't see how people think she's bad.

I think her only flaw is that her tracking/ retracking options are kinda not so good, with the exception of 3p+k they are either too slow to catch SSA or they hit high and risk getting crushed, but other than that i think she's a fantastic character,

Lack of tracking isn't even an issue thanks to that stupid meter change. DoA6 right now is a lot like DoA4 and the meta is speed. Kula not only has the fast jab and mid, she also has probably the best zoning move in the game. Anyone who thinks she's bad is insane.
