FGC Tournament organizers invest in hardware early on and use it for as long as they can. They are slow to adopt PC's largely due to unfamiliarity with technical issues, as well as certain TO's just being cheap asses. The FGC can't grow upward without PC though. It's the only legitimate system for competition at this point, and PC hardware is also where the big sponsors are.
