Isn't that good tho? If a game is made easier, I think if anything the vet players should be able to get down even easier than they did before.

I just thinks it's funny that someone with half the experience than me can even hang with me.Use SFV as an example, If it was previous SFs, I simply perfect those players without batting an eye. Now in order to, I need to constantly be thinking of my opponents various options to play perfectly. It's easy but things feel like it takes more work to achieve it, no matter the MU ratio. You got to play sweaty regardless.

So, I think it's not wrong to feel superior and know it but let's not get ahead of ourselves with how these games are being designed recently. It's worse when it feels like there's little to learn and boom, everyone starts off on mid-lvl. There's no buildup of skill that feels immediately useful. I question everything instead of embracing it.

Yeah but the way I see it, if you use your experience on top of the lowered difficulty, you should be able to win consistently. And isn't that the same way in the harder games? One crush or correct/accidental good read can change the whole momentum like how DOA does

@KasumiLover That depends. It's just a moment of consistency. Not every single aspect has to be made easier because it leads to catering to things that shouldn't be catered for, like some games, it leads to a split. One thing easy for one person has a varied effect to make it harder for the next person, there has to be a balance in there.

I know but I don't see how it's imbalanced in DOA6 for example since the new mechanics are all punishable, the only thing they could have saved is the old ground game tho

Sometimes easy leads to a clunkiness game, which is not even a good thing even if it's aesthetically appealing, there is no heart behind it. There are things in a game that puts you into a commitment to enjoy a game, making it too easy will reduce the pathway and creates a habit of people to get bored sooner than later.
