It's fine. I'm happy we got plenty of games, and I respect your ability to keep going. Instead of dipping after 2 or so games and bitching like BrownOctober. I like people like you don't ever change.
The input delay has been a plague this gen since SFV and UE4 on fighting games. TTT2, SCV, DOA5, VF5:FS, etc. all have less input lag than: T7, SCVI and of course DOA6.
Man TAG2 was the shit. I still like T7 too though. DOA5 is amazing and I took it for granted a little. DOA6 I hate that game with all my heart. SC6 is cool but I like 5 better but I can tell they're trying so I support it. VF5 is cool but I don't follow the VF is the best 3D fighting game trend hype. SFV has dropped the delay quite a bit, and thats respectable. That's all I ask is for developers to try.
I want to push out more fighting game content like you but my most successful video is my Nina iws1 tutorial. Which is the best tutorial for it on the net right now. Pretty proud of it XD lol. You legit can't miss it. If you type in iws1 tutorial it's the first thing you see or tekken nina butterfly tutorial. Your channels pretty dope.
I wish. DOA was my first 3D fighter on the dreamcast/PS2 along with Soul Calibur. Then came Tekken with 3 and 4, but as a kid I felt more free with DOA and played it more. Always got my ass busted in Tekken but I was always playing adults. Tekken 6 came out got my ass busted online. It wasn't until tag2 where I met someone super good and learned.
Basically fighting people much better than myself since 2012. Now that I think about it. The Tekken community wasn't much bigger than DOA back then. It's only now with the release of Tekken 7 people acting like Tekken exists all of the sudden lol. I guess it is in veins if I really think about it.
TTT2 wasn't that popular (though neither was SCV or DOA5). Tekken 7 exploded during Season 2 and has attracted a lot of bandwagon fans too. Wish that SCVI& DOA6 could grow more also.
That could be said for T6 as well. but when Harada was interviewed by the main man. He said Tekken Tag 2 was aimed more for the hardcore, which in turn was a mistake. It also wasn't marketed very well. T7 is easier to get into and it's marketed very well. In general Tekken is a tough game so making it a little easier is fine. Making something easy easier is bad which to me DOA.
I think DOA wont grow much because of how it's marketed, and DOA has a very small hardcore scene, and a very very large casual player base. I feel Team Ninja doesn't take it seriously at all anymore. They see the average casual fan wants more female characters which fits well into there criteria and brings more money. It's basically a fighting game Senran Kagura at this point.
DOA has always had attractive females but growing up with the series. The sexual appeal never over shadowed the game play. If you look at the opening intro in older DOA's like 2 and 3 the game was handled so much more differently. The stigma was still there, but it wasn't as bad as it is today.
If you notice older DOAs followed a certain criteria. DOA3 Christie/Brad, DOA4 Elliot/Kokoro even DOA5 Milia/Rig, Jackie/Sarah, Akira/Pai. Male/Female. That was a thing, because having pretty females was just icing on the cake it wasn't the main pulling point.
