Is it really that bad? Or were expectations not met? YouTube already ruined the movie for me but I do wish to see how they get to the spoiler.

No, it's not really that bad. It's not really that good, either. I'd place it above "Solo: A Star Wars Story" and below "Revenge of the Sith." It has some good ideas, but the execution feels sloppy and rushed. The editing is particularly bad. I think they should have left in the 20 minutes or whatever that they cut out. May have helped in more ways than one.

I don't think people are idiots for liking the movie. One of my best friends loves it. With that being said I had more fun with Attack of the Clones when I was a kid. I felt bored with the characters - even with my favorite returning.

And I really enjoyed the setup and introductions for the characters originally. Loved the first movie. If anything I really enjoyed the end before the credits rolled.
