I mean, I get you on the excitement - I plat'd the orginal and all its DLC. But as a DoA fan, do you really wanna be giving that company money atm?

For Nioh 2? yes. For DOA6? no.

The difference between the two is that Nioh as of yet (hopefully never) has not fallen into that category of schemes. Each portion of Nioh was pretty much direct to what you are getting, what to expect, and the type of content they are aiming generally fits the game's motive or basic design. If Nioh 2 were to fall in that situation similar to DOA? then no. So far nothing of that sort has appeared at all for Nioh.

I can totally understand the argument to boycott all of their products, but the idea to "vote with your wallet" is just as principled. It's really a personal choice at the end of the day. Support the good, shun the bad. If that means one day they decide to cut off DoA completely and go all in with Nioh and other games, that would destroy KT's rep for me, but it would be understandable.

That said, I want to play Nioh some day, but I'm not usually anxious to play any game on day 1 anymore these days. I don't mind waiting. But for other ppl, yeah it's really something to think about, but it's their decision. Boycotting the DOA6's DLC should be minimum duty for any fan though, lol.

But that's a flaw that's helping no one, people should more or so note their game interests and qualities+tactics to KT and use Nioh as an example rather than a test dummy of what DOA is missing out with work effort on Nioh. It's the sense of "DOA should strive to be like Nioh with a game made good" instead of "If DOA is looking pretty negative, then Nioh 2 as well should be negative".

I mean hey, to have someone mention to me on Twitter like "Hey, DOA6 is looking bad and therefore you should also cancel your pre-order for Nioh". My answer? you can't be serious. Sike you thought. No, I won't cancel lol. Unrelated except for effort.

Instead, people should just hit up KT and rub Nioh as evidence to what DOA could of gotten with similar effort. Exploit them.
