This was true for me until I realized that we're not playing for glory and the less I complained, the faster I improved. The more I see little things I can improve on. This also desensitizes with age. Particular titles respect your effort more than others ofc

Same with me........but then I'm not too upset when I start thinking about the console version being a half ass dog shit game. TN/KT should be a shame of themselves.

I'm sure one of the problems is PS4's outdated 1990s CPU LOL.

My bad, just a bit irritated about DOA6's performance issues and TN odd choices.

You see everybody doing good and improving while a brick wall is in your way making you stay the same or get worse. Shit is depressing.......

Sometimes its best to take a break or move on to a different fighting game.

At times it is better to try out a new fighting game or just take a break from every single fighting game that you play. I noticed that I became a bit better at x fighting game after I took a break from it for 2 weeks or so, guess because my mindset may have slightly changed during that time and I was also playing with a refreshed state of mind and not with a burnt out by playing so much fighting games state of mind.

It might not work for everyone but I feel that it is better to just focus on other games, or even on other hobbies and then coming back to the game we were trying to get better at than getting frustrated at not becoming better at certain videogames.

It's human nature to want instant gratification
