If you plan on buying a PC anyway there's no point in buying an XBOX as there won't be any XBOX exclusive games; you'll be able to play all XBOX games on PC as well, getting an XBOX would be redundant.
@UpSideDownGRUNT One X, price should be cheaper and lower once the Series X releases but Seigen is right, its better to just fully invest into a new PC, because of the Xbox Game Pass, I'd be literally knocking out two birds with one stone when it comes to Xbox games and emulation on PC.
Hmm... You'd need Game Pass Ultimate to play XBone on PC (which is pretty cool). To surpass an Xbox One X's output, you'd need an RTX 2060 at a minimum (and the difference would be fairly marginal), whereas console games are better optimized in comparison. To surpass an Xbox Series X's output, you'd basically need at least an RTX 3080 which would cost more than all the next-gen consoles combined.
Have seen the minimum requirements in order to play the Xbox games in 1080p on PC. A couple of months ago I was thinking about a 1080 Ti and a i7 7-9700K for graphics card and processor but I'll have to recheck prices for all them plus to see how demanding are the games that I'd like to play on PC, only then will I make the decision about the parts that I need.
@ChaolanLegacy a 1080Ti will let you play pretty much everything right now at 1080p 60at high/max settings, even Cyberpunk 2077 only recommends a 1060 for 1080p max the most important part is that you buy an SSD for your games.
The 1080Ti is obsolete to buy right now if you don't get it for like 200 Euros. For 1080p gaming an RTX 3060, soon to be released, is all the GPU you'd need. And don't buy a CPU without hyperthreading like the 9700K, they'll soon be a bottleneck with next gen consoles having 16 thread Zen 2 CPUs; plus you'll appreciate the extra threads if you multitask.
Checked potential pricing of the RTX 3060 and yeah, it sounds like it'll be the best graphics card to go for. What would be the best option for the processor that'd go well with an RTX 3060, has hyperthreading and it isn't too immensely expensive?
