1) PS3 was a gaming rig instead of a stupid media center that wants to track your heartbeat, unborn child and has more loops, restrictions and gimmicks than a used car salesman.
2) I waited to get a PS3 until it went on sale for about $200.

1) Xbox One is a gaming machine with a lot of things built in that families and households are going to love and the restrictions are no better or worse than typical PC DRM. They've already confirmed you can turn Kinect off AND that you can limit what it tracks and completely stop any of the information from leaving your console.

2) Irrelevant. Then the price shouldn't matter to you, nor should you be complaining about it, right? I'll be buying it day one (already reserved it) and I find the price point to be totally fine.

The price shouldn't matter? I hope that was not meant to be taken literally. Some people are on very tight budgets. Additionally, for someone like me who usually gets games on PC when available (Steam sales are magnificent), paying an assload for a wreck of a console only for a few exclusives is absurd. The CLalt is far too high.

You don't like the console and have a massive bias against it. Just your word choice gives it away. My recommendation? Stick to PC gaming. That's obviously much cheaper than $500...

In all seriousness, I like what they've shown. To me, everything they've said is great. As I've said before, I get that other people have different opinions, but I can only speak for myself. And I'm happy.

Bias implies prejudice. I am post-judicial. I have seen what the xbox one has to offer, which is basically nothing but needless BS. Anything good about the console can be found on other platforms, plus it's bogged down by irritations and an absurd price tag. I like TNs games too well to go PC-only, but hopefully Hayashi will continue to implicitly favor the PS next gen.

None of us have seen much beyond MS's own confusion at explaining things and media spin. As I understand things, I like what they're doing. I can finally run my games without a disc spinning away in a drive and I'm willing to accept concessions to do that. Keeping Ninja Gaiden running in the background at a hard part and taking a break to play something else seamlessly? Sounds pretty great to me.

Not really preaching but I do give some better reasons for why I'm excited in the E3 thread Game Over made.

It's just everybody complaining & overlooking things...

I expect it, honestly. We're all pretty picky about what we spend so much time and money on. The problem is that people kind of band together online and get some weird reinforcement from other people bitching about the same shit. Hard to actually have a conversation. I happen to enjoy arguing and debating so I sometimes encourage it :D.

LOL!!!!! Hell that's obvious. Just look at your posts in the competitive group on facebook lmao!

My posts there are almost always just to rile people up. If I'm going to have to see the rest of the shit people post there, emphasis on 'shit,' then I might as well make it more interesting there.

I don't see what you find ironic. People complained about the PS3's price too. The same thing happens and that's ironic? You should look up the definition.
